Wow! I didn't know you can transition by just using the Filers. I still have the WEGO 4 but soon will upgrade to the XDJ-RR! I can't wait!!!
this video definitely helped me out alot... ive bought my first DJ controller about 3 weeks ago and have been practice real hard ever since. My transitions have gotten alot better and its been just such a joy to learn more everyday! Thank you for sharing the knowledge, my guy!
Only just started out Dj'ing, treated myself to the new pioneer RX2 ! Fantastic bit of kit, but needing to experiment more. Your videos are really easy to understand and you explain things perfectly. Thank You! And keep doing what you are doing. Definitely going to practise this transition next time!

Two months ago, I stated I will upgrade my WEGO 4 to the XDJ-RR! I decided to purchased the DDJ-400. I did practice using the Filers.

One question though, why is the waveform of the second track not showing? I have had this issue also but I don't understand why... Please advise. Thanx.
Julio Cesar Roman more then likely the song isn't rekordboxed mate
@Julio Tracks need to be analysed by Rekordbox and exported from the software for waveforms to show. The device will still play tracks if not exported from Rekordbox, but no waveforms. 👍🏻

Great stuff for those loooong house mixes that transition for days.
Not a very reliable style of mixing for all genres including breaks.
The color dial transition gives the transition the same feel every time it's used; rising up into a noisy, hazy mist, before dropping down again from the misty, hazy, noisy blur.
What I dislike about some filters is that their resonance is set ridiculously high, as if trying to emulate an EDM noise sweep effect. I have to reduce some frequencies in order to avoid the screeching sound.
thats the point maybe ? now able to do high res and low res
in my opinion using these tehnique you have at 9 not enough of high tones so it doesnt sound good
