It wasnt Gremory in the end, it was Satan in disguise... because in the opening scene Satan was introduced eating a Heart... and he was disgusted.. i think this scene was a symbolism...

If u ask me I'll say it was indeed gremory in the end. But Satan already said that he'll devour his heart when it's fully ripped. So satan won't let gremory have her way. Hence the smile akuma kun gave in the end despite having his heart ripped out. Next season will probably start from satan possessing akuma kun then bitch slapping gremory with "don't touch my fries" energy

Gremory did not possess Hina's body, he only took on her appearance and absorbed her personality, the corpse of the real Hina was in the basement.

Definitely agree on the female characters aspect, they have no depth unfortunately
