Mine do not vibrate. I painted them with Raptor Liner which added to the stiffness of the fender
Nice rig 🔥 what bumper is that ? Wow 😯
Good points
Thanks for watching!
This helped. I'm ordering the stuff to do my gladiator. Although I'm going with a different inner fender. I like the skull crusher. It seems to be in further, away from the tires
Can you reuse the inner fender cover by trimming them around the drl assembly? I dont like the “exposed” look too much lol
yes, I installed the high line DRL, and re-used the old inner fender liner, and it looks great!
Great video. How stable are the fenders after you strip out the molding and inner fender. Do you get any vibration from them when traveling on the highway?
I was wondering the same question
Did you have to do anything to make the outer edge of the Hi-Lines stay in place since you didn't use the outer bolt? I much prefer this look over that bolt lol. Great vid btw!
Thank you. As far as the fenders I just let them rest on there, they stay in place no issues.
Does it flop up and down without doing the bolt through the side?
How are these holding on? Mine have failed several times and Im now in the search for options, what do you recommend?
Hey can I buy the plastic backing brackets if you still have them?
Hey dude…..How (and sorry if I missed it) did you get away with not drilling that screw on the side of the fender to hold the light?
Jeep looks great btw 👍🏼
I never did the screw. It’s holding up just fine. I would rather have the fender rip off clean if I catch it on something. Thanks for watching.
@@MohawkDaveOffRoad Did you do something different tho? 2 sided tape?
Just looking to see what’s works for people and great to here it’s held up for you
I just purchased these and am waiting for them to arrive. It looks like there’s metal brackets that stick out into the wheel well once the factory inner fender liner is removed. Does that not rub? It seems like it would
It does not, full flex with 37s and no rubbing.
👍
If they just blinked with the signal they would be perfect
I think the new ones will have the ability to to change blinking patterns.
I cringed when you put the satellite into the door pocket... ooof. Get yo some dv8 pockets my guy
After removing the fender support did it flap or vibrate when driving at freeway speed???
Not really, I have not noticed anything at all.
I dont like that you have to remove the inner fender liner. Also, from another video I watched, it makes the fender alot less stable compared to stock
Hey I just got my quake ones in the mail was gonna try to keep inner fender liner. What are you doing for fender liners
Nice. I am doing smittybilt ones. I'll have that In the next Jeep episode.
Very night
Got mine about 2 years ago. Rusted and yellowing bad. Very bad product.
You should contact them. I know they just partnered up with Diode Dynamics for the light portion of the bracket since this was a common issue. Mine have turned yellow as well, I will try to see if theres anything they can do about it. I know Diode Dynamics make Top Notch products so I'm sure there will be no BS.
