I would show them that they are all in a random order and cull the 4 cards under the guise of letting them see the cards are well and truly shuffled, and then boom, top 4 cards turned over are their cards :)
What if when you do the last cut, for the final key card, you accidentally cut at one of their cards, separating it from the other key card? 😬 Has that ever happened?
