I wish so damn much that her illness didnt hold her back from reaching the world with her beautiful voice. She deserves so much more recognition. As a boricua myself, I'm proud shes one of us. Simply amazing.

Mouse has overcome more than just illness; and becuase of that, we get to enjoy how awesome her voice really is! (remeber to give plasma)
She had to be nerfed, or her power would become too great, and the world would implode.

@@azjugallo I know this is a month later but Opera would be much louder and sounds different due to the techniques used, I that was her just using vocal folds.
I also suspect by the way it sounded natural that it's closer to what her natural voice (could've) sounded like
@@iDeLaYeD_o she's a trained opera singer + there are many many different styles of singing in opera so I don't know why you think he can't say that
@@iDeLaYeD_o hit it on the mark. sound is physics and you can hear when a note just really resonates. when she sings higher her voice is a little weaker, pressed and slightly hoarse. that deeper part is just effortless and so powerful it has to be near her natural voice.
And 3:19 she is amazing,
Mousey is able to pack so much emotion into her singing - this was absolutely heartbreaking and beautiful at the same time!
I was encouraged to find other versions of this, and none of the others (including the original) failed to get enough emotion as Mouse
This is an example of what using your voice as an instrument means.
i hope mousey reads this, but every damn song she sings first of all brings chills to my spine. this one in particular actually made me cry, that voice, the emotion it carries is just insanely powerfull i love the talent you have mouse

The version where she started crying while singing about being lonely broke me. I hear that in my head every time she sings it now.

She actually sang along to this version live a while ago and harmonised with herself during parts of it, there's a vid up of that too and it's amazing.
Her other rendition makes me bawl my eyes out. I was at work (lumberyard). Had to put on sunglasses, and keep that lip quivering thing at bay. Also good thing I was sweating my ass off. Nobody had a clue I was crying cause of this girl.

Just too good. Her first cover introduced me to the original song and I had to go over it again and again. Loving how Mousey got to do this song again.
There are so many fantastic versions of this song out there, of which this is one. Of course there is the original very by Sara Bareilles who wrote it, as well as Jessie Mueller who first played the part in the play it was written for and who sang the first “official” version and Shoshana Bean who performed the role and song after her (considered by many to be the best version). There are many other fantastic versions out there as well, but my personal favorite is actually by Jeremy Jordan who sang it at the MCC Miscast Gala (a performance where top tier stage singers get a chance to perform favorite songs for roles they would never get cast as).
"Mousey sings" and "no crying" cannot coexist, I'm in tears every time.
Unironically difficult to not cry. Mousey is a gift wrapped in a unfortunate ribbon. But she'll get over her illness, we know it.
Her singing is beautiful.
We just gotta hope it's sooner rather than later that they figure out how to cure her illness so she doesn't have to deal with it for too many more years

I've notice a lot of vtubers when singing karaoke, especially a song as emotionally and vocally demanding as this, often fade out as the songs goes on so there's something beautiful about how Mousey gets more powerful as she sings
