This song just happened to be in on of my ruffed time in my life raising 4 daughter’s on my own and making some tufted choices and recently had a sweet 16 for my younger daughter and played that same son for her dance with out my other 3 oldest girls 😢they made their own choices too. Not to be in touch it’s been 12 years now. And it hurt’s 😢

3 years ago two of my horses were sold without me knowing. they were my everything. everyone I knew was texting the guys who bought them to sell them back to us but he refused. we finally gave up and had to move on. three years later, the guys has offered them back to us. they are coming home next month. don’t give up, anything is possible❤️

I cried to this song as I took my big brother back and forth to chemo He was terminal I could relate to every part of this song. While he was alive I took the lines in this song and made them positive... repairing a very strained relationship, praying for a miracle or more time. After he died I cried constantly to this song. Thinking about how every day lead us ‘one step closer’ to his passing. ‘I have loved you for 1000 years’ meant we have have known each other since the beginning, before friends, wife, kids... and ‘ I will love you for 1000 more’ meant I know a part of that only we will share.
He’s been gone 6 years and I still listen and cry 💔
