Yeah man, I’m thinking some giant rainbows may have been up in that small stream from the bigger one that one flows into possibly to spawn actually…. It’s hard when you’re fishing for big Wild Browns in a small stream in the spring & you’ve got rainbows like that up in there….. 🤷♂️ I’m sure he went back to business as usual after I released him though 👌🤙😁
Thanks a ton my man….. Appreciate the follow & glad you’re enjoying 😁👌🤙 Maybe someday dude we can link up & hit the water…. Always enjoy some new exploration!🎣🤙
Yeah most of these big fish in my videos are actually wild trout from streams that actually aren’t stocked! Definitely fortunate in PA to have an abundance of streams that hold quality fisheries & a Super Wild Trout reproduction! 👌🤙😁🎣
Absolute mutant of a rainbow. The 1 2 combo of the spinner and streamer seems to be the ticket for you man. Are we ever gonna see some jerkbait action?👀
Thanks Boss, I appreciate it!!! 👍👌😁 I honestly fish all over the state and find big fish all over the state. You just have to put your time in to the right areas and generally pays off. 🤙😁🎣
I love mepps spinners those are my go toos when there not feeding off the bugs ive caught a lot of trout with mepps aglia plain spinners gold and silver colored and also i caught the biggest golden rainbow ive ever caught with the mepps thunderbug spinner and a couple huge brown trout with the mepps black fury dont have much luck with the trailer versions of the mepps spinners tho but when im not using those and there eating the bugs off the top of the water i throw dry flys and wet flys and get absolutely crushed theres no better feeling than catching them off flys they fight like crazy
@@tokeup4204 Yeah I really need to get into the fly game….. I know there’d be a learning curve getting used to the longer rod but I think I’d love it once I got the hang! 🤷♂️🤙😊🎣
Your measurement approximations are off bad🤣calling 14 or 15 inch fish 18 inches is wild. You know an 18 inch trout when you catch one. Much much bigger than the rest
Thanks for the video some real good stuff
Thank you kindly for the compliment my friend! 👌🤙😁🎣
Murphy's Law, happens all the time with my phone battery and the good fish. But what a stunning brown that last one was. And that 'bow ! Well done.
Those are Some nice fish you got there!! I Like to see you and Chuck over at Windwalker Outdoors collab. Should make for some interesting content.
Boom, the fish got bigger and bigger...awsome video!
Nice, again what I can only dream off. Enjoy your videos. Thnx
Looks like that real big rainbow had a friend with him. When you head downstream you can see another fish take off in the same direction.
I seen that, massive fish took off after he hooked.

You should try and put a lens off a pair of polarized sunglasses over the GoPro lens I’m curious if it would make it easier for us to see in the water
Yeah, GoPro actually makes a polarized lens, I’m thinking about getting one when I get my next GoPro. Hopefully it works as good as my glasses do! 🤞
Nice job!!
Thank you kindly 🤙😁🎣
Nice fish.
Thanks Russ….. lucked out on a cpl more lol🤙😁🎣
I see ur using a st croix legend spinning rod i love those rods
They are definitely a great rod, I’ve had 2 St. Croix rods now & loved them both! 🤙
I wish my state would stock good numbers and big fish like this

Hey great channel enjoy watching! What's the name of that spinner you like
throwing at them trout
Thank you very kindly…. Much appreciated 😊
I throw the Mepps Aglia Plain Gold
That giant rainbow……is a holdover??? Did you say up above that they’re spawning?
I saw a pair of them in that stream after I caught that one that looked suspiciously to me like spawn activity! 🤷♂️
@@chasingthewildwithdustyrho2620
Wow
What kind of line do you use and what pound?
I spool 8lb Stren mono
@chasingthewildwithdustyrho2620 thanks!!!
What area of PA is that?

My primary go-to lure is the Mepps Aglia & I also dabble with some jig streamers! 👌👍😁🎣
