Because the British and Australians can do good do Yank accents really well, yet only a few Yanks can do British accents and none can do Australian accents.
Australians, yes. For the most part. Irish, Welsh and Scottish actors can do American accents well - especially Southern and New England ones that were heavily influence my Celtic immigrants. English actors seem to have the worst time.

They aired a show where someone was suicidal and during the commercial he and the co stars talked about suicide and gave out the 800 HOTLINE NUMBER....that's when I found out that he was British! I was in shock because he played his character so well like the actor who played HOUSE!!

The more I see and hear Oliver speak, the more anamoured I become. I've lived in LA and was in the position where I had the honour to meet many actors. Never felt star struck, respect yes realizing the magnitude only came when I'd casually tell someone when I returned to Canada about meeting so and so or being at whoever's house party. But, Oliver is on a different level. He's not just extraordinarily attractive but he's kind and humble. Speaks from the heart and doesn't seem to filtre out the truth to maintain a facade. Maybe, it's because he's the kind of guy I'd like to be IDK. I do know I get a wave of something come over me when I look in his eyes when he's speaking, can't get enough of him. Weird. Imagine meeting him in person and having that pheromonal exchange that ppl have when they meet...probably make me pass-out haha.

Yeah, I knew that his birth mark was real. But they did include talking about his birth mark saying something about “It looks like you got punched in the face”
I think it's great they have included it in the show instead of covering it up with make up, it's part of him and he shouldn't have to hide it or be embarrassed by it. His a gorgeous guy and his birthmark doesn't change that.
Found out about 911 because after watching prison break, I discovered that Rockmund Dunbar was starring in this show too, so I binged watched all of season 1 of 911 over the weekend. To my surprise, GREAT Show! I can say now that 911 became my 2nd favorite show besides prison break. Need to watch season 2 now.
