Dom, even if he doesn't play well, he still gives at least two assists per game, only those should be scored. Without him and without Trent, there is zero creativity in this team, everyone just runs around with their heads down. Otherwise, you can easily poke Dom, any other team is welcome he would see him in his ranks, and maybe he would even be played in his right position there.
Craig, I think you have been watching a different game. You are obsessed by the idea that Elliot should start. Because of this you simply hate Szobo. You encourage us to say if we agree or disagree. Well, I personally totally disagree. Allison 5? Why ? If he wasn't there LFC might get 3 goals. Trent was selfish and slow. Salah should not start. Nunez has to be sold. Diaz was a scrap. And what about your "holy" Elliot? How many times he managed to touch the ball in 20 minutes? 2-3? Is this a performance from a professional player? Bro! Finally someone who not only watches, but also sees the game!!! I'm Hungarian, so sometimes it might be biased... Yes, I can see that things are not going as well for Dom as at the beginning of the season, I can see that he's been scattering a lot of balls lately.. but how could he be responsible for everything?? ? The whole team has underperformed in the last 5-6 games, not just Dom. Dom recently arrived in your country from a weaker league, and his creativity is lost due to the constant defense. Of course he needs to do better, but so does the whole team. I will describe for the umpteenth time that DOM's passes in the last six months in a more serious team would already mean + 10 goals. I have no problem with Elliot, but don't compare him to Dom, because he's not in the same category. The player ratings are much, much more realistic than what you see in the video. THX Bro

Everyone gets star struck by Salah his stats for years other than scoring have been terrible. 85% of the time he'll lose the ball. 30% pass success rate, afraid to tackle in the 50/50. 6 goals this year have come directly from Salah lossing the ball. Also the majority of his goals are tap ins and penalties. This guy is on a million pounds a week. Useless! He needs to go!

Hilarious cause mac is arguably the main reason the seasons turned. He scored that worldie at the worst possible time. He needed a rest but after that goal, klopps not given him a minutes rest. He's had less energy than the 2 returning from injury but forced through 90 mins even though he slows down after 30 mins

When you have a premium donkey like Alexander-Arnold The Great constantly swinging leg and hoping for the best, there is no midfield play. In fact, FSG Liverpool don't need technical midfielders because Alexander-Arnold The Great stands above everyone else allegedly dictating the play . Every FSG Liverpool midfielder's game suffers when this donkey plays. So, is it a surprise that Szoboszlai didn't play well?
After the three substitutions, the game of Pool died. Elliott didn't even know where he was, after 12 minutes he was already breathing through his ears, Trent sold more balls in the game than adidas in a week. Szobo maybe two. Push Mac further and loan Szobo to Tottenham, at least there is a team game there and the fans appreciate him there.

Without the ball, I agree, but with the ball he was too sloppy at times. I love Dom, but he hasn't been in the best of form in the last month or so, which could be said for a lot of our players. Not the best first season from him, but solid enough for a young player playing in a new league and in a different system/position. I expect a lot from him in the next few years though, got bags of potential.

I was about to say 'just you'...but people seem to be agreeing with you. I thought his passing was poor and he nearly cost us again, yes he ran around and had energy but it amountes to nothing and his decision making was dubious to say the least.....no impact and a shell of the player he was 6 months ago
Konate has always been too close to attackers. Szobo is getting hammered and he doesn't deserve it. Drop Salah and the the whole team will improve.

Anyone else noticed we are keep struggling against teams whose playing with 4-5 midfielders?
Salah and Lucho not closing back , if they do they do a fault. In attack , always 3 midfielders has to try to find the way to the strikers through 4-5 players on the opposition’s midfield.

It was so frustrating yesterday again, Alison brings the ball upwards, the midfield is overloaded with Atalanta players , the lads are not trying to make themselves free, the front three is standing in line with the Atalanta defenders and no-one stepping back to the midfield to ask the ball and increase our numbers and options for pass in that area . It was painful to watch tbh.

Dom was sloppy for the first 20 mins with his passing. I think nearly every pass went straight to Atalanta. Having said that, Macca was poor today along with the rest of the midfield. Dom showed glimpses in the attack for the first 20 mins, but most game midfield was MIA

Jota 9/10 - At least he came back to our half to join the backpassing a few times.

I'm sorry but Szoboszlai wasn't good enough? He was so active in the first half, probably the best player on the whole pitch... he made runs all the time, he had great passes, and at the same time he is the only player defending on the right side, he had to do everything basically. Everyone is talking about Szoboszlai's performance dropping, but it didn't drop at all, he is just played way more defensively by Klopp than before, but he is putting the work in. If Salah is a 6/10 then Szobo is at least an 8/10
In my humble opinion, its been a great season so far considering our awful drop off from the last. And also considering we lost the transfer battle in the summer yet we are far ahead of Chelsea and are in the title mix.
Jurgen leaving might be a blessing in disguise. We thank him for his great effort in reviving Liverpool turning us from doubters to believers.
Lets go again with a new determination, tactics, style of play with Ruben next season.

@@junioradult6219 Probably. I looked at our results, and the only comfortable games or games we scored 3+ goals mostly came without Salah and with Jota. But in all honesty, he does seem to create a lot of chances for others, but his pace is gone. Wish Klopp would've moved him central by now.

I would start gakpo left, jot middle and nunez right. Salah and lucho arent doing much at all to come back and help the mids. Its making a huge difference compared to when they were out. With bradley out dom is really on his own on the right
Was sad when klopp announced he was leaving but to be honest we do need a change.
After that early goal we should have been buzzing and going at them. We did for about 10 minutes then we got slower and slower. Second half was played at walking pace.

That was a difficult performance to watch. Jones cannot be a counted on to be a starting midfielder on this club. Needs to be sold……. When his play is worse than his haircut you know it’s bad.
Szoboszlai has been almost as bad. The difference is, Jones didn't cost us anything. Szoboszlai has been a huge dissapointment so far. Doesn't look any better than someone like Conor Gallagher.

Mac Allister has been giving the ball away very cheaply for the last few weeks, not a 7 for sure. Curtis great pressing without the ball but gave us little when we had the ball. Need a solid CDM to make mid and defence look better. Salah miss was pivotal in this game, simple lob. Klopp has had this team overperforming for some time and some chickens are coming home to roost.
It's all come to a head,months of injuries have took their toll..Players comin back but not match fit and players played too much look shattered.. Immense efforts from the team in all competitions,we have to praise their efforts..Sadly being in all competitions has stopped us winning more I feel..YNWA we go again Reds❤
What infuriated me is the endless passing between our defenders and our goalkeeper. We probably spent more time in our own half than in Atalanta's half. No way we will score just playing in our own half, unless to concede goals (which almost happened).
Got to take a second to actually applaud the tactics of Atalanta. They didn't rest for a single second with that man marking! Our players simply aren't technical enough to play around that type of tactics. Our forwards don't have a shred of technical ability between them apart from Gakpo.

Klopp 4. Nearly all the play was concentrated on Liverpool's left side with players bumping into each other, scrambling for the ball and impossible to break through. Meanwhile the right side was one empty space with no one, Salah having drifted central, Trent on walkabout and where was right midfield? One way to beat a team like Atlanta is to switch the play at speed and Liverpool have always done this - Gerrard, Henderson, Trent etc... Klopp really must be exhausted.

Over the last 2-3 games, we have been terrible at our build up plays. Everyone is waiting, not enough movement. No one is looking for the channels. We are definitely not at the same level as Arsenal. Its strange.

The worst thing is nothing to do with the individual players...the team is caught. They exposed their weakness...if the opposite team defends high and put pressure on them they have no idea what to do. And it was funny to see that the answer to this was to quickly do any throw-ins, do everything quicker...this is brute forcing something that doesn't work...since 3-4 matches the team including Klopp don't find the solution and now everbody knows how to stunt us and beat us.
what really surprised me is that Konate was bought from a club where he was playing RB, but upon arrival at Liverpool club he is assigned a CB position. If players are brought to the team and are played out of their natural positions all what a club must expect from them is their prolonged period of adjustment.

It is either the strategy Klopp chose or the lack of creativity among defenders who back passes too often. Not Alisson's fault to keep the ball long. Anyway, we lost the game at Anfield.
I love Klopp and what he's done for us as a club and city, but it's time for change. He's right.
He's taken us to 5 European finals, a league title, and many other amazing nights, but at the very last hurdle, his tactics have just come short.
He's gone nearly a decade now and never figured out how to stop the defence from capitulating.
He uses emotion and atmosphere first, tactics 2nd. The issue about that is that emotion and atmosphere can't stay the same week after week after week. Its justst impossible.
This is where Liverpool have failed and City have excelled. City can play in zero atmosphere with zero emotion and coldly, tactically, and technically pick teams apart and win 5-0.
Liverpool need waves of emotion to do that.
Again, the man is a legend, I love him, but I look forward to a change in tactics.
