We couldn't help but think of the movie 'Aliens' when watching this machine at work on our most recent forestry site.
It is thick freezing fog on an upland Sitka Spruce plantation.
This machine will run 24 hours a day until the site is cleared and can be replanted.
It is a highly skilled job.
It will only stop to refuel or change operators.
We will be replanting this whole site in the spring.
