All your needle books are so lovely. I’m sure your nieces will be thrilled with such a lovely reminder of their aunt. The blue one that has a crocheted edging reminds me of my mother’s friend. She showed us how to make that edging and said she learned it from her mother-in-law. I have the written directions and cherish them.

A tactile and emotional connection to a loved one and any time a stranger comments on the beauty of the cases an opportunity to tell the story of the history of the textiles, the former owner, and the maker. ❤❤❤

OUTSTANDING milady! I’ve been collecting vintage handkerchiefs for a while to make a quilt, but I definitely want to do this too! Maybe even knitting needle and crochet needle cases I’ve been wanting to make for myself. 💕
