Take care!
Oh, please keep going! You’ve just barely scratched the surface, and it’s so much fun to watch someone discover Pentatonix! We will be there with you if you do
Especially the reactions to Mitch…those are my favorite
Yes, none of us Pentaholics will mind blurred and blocked videos, they do sell out arenas, I just went to one at oakland arena, about 14,000 people?
Kirsty's half smile is famous. I'm sure other PTX fans will give you advice on avoiding the blocks. You picked the right two songs to introduce you to how much variety they bring. As Christmas approaches, you can't go wrong with almost any of their Christmas videos.
Kirstin had a whole verse in Hallelujah right before Mitch (hat in that video, high voice ). They won a Grammy for this arrangement.
If you love Mitch Grassi's voice he does a solo rooftop performance of Billie Eilish's "Power" that is nothing short of mind blowing
Ooh, thanks for tossing this in! I need to go check that out! 🥰
@@jerolddavis This is REALLY worth your time to hear! Just amazing. The best thing to come out of Mitch Grassi's mouth!!
@@Blue-rl5dp So stoked to hear it! Anything he does is worth the time, let alone his best stuff! 💜

Save the link, you'll want to hear this again.
Yessss it’s so good
Oh yes, they are big! you can check their live videos from their christmas tours or recently from the hollywood bowl to get an impression.. thank you for the great reaction, watching you is a joy and I can't wait for more! 😉
Isn’t this such an amazing video, not surprisingly they won their first Grammy for this. I hope you keep watching them. They technically didn’t start on CZcams, they started on the show, The Sing Off which was an a cappella version of American Idol. They grew their fan base on CZcams. There concerts absolutely sell out and are huge. I have tickets to their first show for their Christmas tour in a week and 2 days.
Me too! 🎉🎉🎉🎉😊❤❤❤
You’ll find the countdown goes from weeks to days, to hours and finally minutes waiting in line to get into the theater/auditorium!🥰😍😁
the Grammy was for the arrangement, just like Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy. The Jolene Grammy was a performance Grammy and NOW THEY'RE NOMINATED FOR THEIR ALBUM EVERGREEN!! they are the PINNACLE of the a cappella world
Mitch has an amazing range, just like Scott and Kirstie. In 'Mad World' they all sing in a lower range and it is haunting. In 'Amazing Grace', Mitch's voice is mid-range and so freaking powerful it will give you chills. PTX sells out wherever they go. They will be in Denver Colorado here in 1 week!
They'll be in Utah in 11 days! If I had just waited for their Christmas tour to be announced I could have skipped the 13-hour drive to the Hollywood Bowl to see them. Well, who am I kidding? I'm glad I'm doing both!
@@HelenWheelsUtah In SF in 7 days!!! So excited to see them!!!
They are huge! They won the third season of TV's "The Sing Off" in 2011. They've won 3 Grammy Awards (one was for this very song) They've been together for 11 years with only one member change, although some members change up their looks in different videos. And yes absolutely, to your question of whether they tour and sell out venues. I've got my ticket for next month on their "Christmas around the world" tour. Also, they are getting a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame next year. Anyway, just my little bit of knowledge to pass on FYI. I think they are an amazing and talented group of young people jmho. Good luck with your channel from new sub. 👍❤
If you are an oldies fan, check out their cover of Simon and Garfunkel's "Sound Of Silence," or of Elvis' "Can't Help Falling In Love," or their video with Dolly Parton singing "Jolene" (for which they won another of their 3 Grammys). Pentatonix is huge, you're just late to the party. Simply look at the number of views for their videos. They've been around for 11 years. Oh, and they have several Christmas albums. They make one every year. Be careful, you may become a Pentaholic (a Pentatonix fan) like your sister.
Im a Penta Fan but also a Daft Punk fan. He REALLY needs to react to Daft Punk themselves. One of if not the ONLY Techno band to win Album of the Year, beating out Taylor Swift in 2014.
If you want to get an idea of how big the venues are check out their live version of Joyful, Joyful from last year's Christmas tour. They are only a "CZcams band" because mainstream radio will not play them year round. You do hear some occasionally at Christmas time, but not nearly enough.
Great reaction!
Yes! They absolutely do sell-out concerts. I've gone to see them on a couple of occasions and its a fantastic show! They sound just as good live as they do in their videos! =)
They played a sold-out concert at the Hollywood Bowl a couple of weeks ago. They play to full arenas around the world and have had several TV specials.
Apparently, when they found out they were accepted for the TV show The Sing Off, Kirsty cried, because the world would finally get to hear
Mitch's voice.
I never heard that before but it's totally believable!! These people are the best of friends, the love and respect they have for each other is a big part of their success IMHO. Never selfish! Always looking for who can do the most with a part and sharing it up.
We love your sister ! This song was made for $400. at home. They WON A GRAMMY ! Thanks for this reaction. They have lots more magic for you to discover. ❤
They won Grammies for this. I am glad you started down this rabbit hole. You will be blown away by Bohemian Rhapsody! They are huge internationally!
They've won Grammys, they got a star on the Hollywood walk of fame. So yeah, they're frickin huge!
The Mitch slap that just keeps giving. Loving your reactions, Michael. Keep diving down the PTX rabbit hole. There is so much awesome to uncover. If you like Mitch (counter tenor/high voice) then check out "The Prayer". For a Kirstin lead, I recommend, "Rather Be". They have so much range. You'll love it.
Not just a CZcams band, although, after winning a TV competition show, "The Sing Off", the prize of being given a record contract was yanked away when Sony Records decided that there wasn't enough interest in Acapella. This is when they decided to try their luck with CZcams. They are big time now though around a dozen CDs and yes, they sell out large venues. Here in Houston they fill the same venue that popular rock bands play (Cynthia Woods Pavilion) which seats around 15000.
They are very famous. They just got on the Hollywood walk of fame. They have received numerous awards and have originals. From ptx to superfrut to Mitch's Messer album to Scott's original "Mars".
Kevin (the beatboxer) is on another level and keeps getting better. He blew me away with what he does on their original song Coffee in Bed. He also cello-boxes and you can see that in their covers of Shallow and Say Something
The next song you will have to check out their "Bohemian Rhapsody". That should solidify your Fandom. Don't worry about needing to blur their videos. Lots of reactors have too. It's more of a record label thing. With Christmas coming up,they have 7 Christmas albums so lots to chose from
Yes, if you really want to be amazed by Mitch then Bohemian Rhapsody is the one to go to
They sell out big venues around the world. Check out when they will be near you. Also check out some of their live videos.
They are HUGE and fill very large venues. They tour A LOT, all over the world. They started by winning Season 3 of the American singing competition The Sing-Off. They were dropped by their label almost immediately and went to CZcams and took off from there. They have won 3 Grammys (first one for this Daft Punk Medley) and have released (I think) 1 Christmas Album a year (there is even a SXM Pentatonix Christmas channel) and loads of other albums. They do covers (excuse me, upgrades) and original songs. I think you will like exploring this rabbit hole.
Mitch is a counter tenor. Very short vocal cords give him that amazing tone. He is so incredibly talented, as they all are.
You’ve just started down the rabbit hole. Congratulations on your journey to becoming a Pentaholic. You look about the right age to really appreciate their 90’s Dance Medley. Their cover of Bohemian Rhapsody will give you chills. The Prayer (upgrade) hopefully will be their 4th Grammy. Check them out!
Yes yes yes they been around for years. They won a Grammy for this song.
This won them their first Grammy by the way.
Mitch Grassi is a counter-tenor and, with ease, can hit notes some female sopranos can't. He will continuously blow your mind. They are all ridiculously talented. Welcome to your Pentatonix journey!
I know you are amazed at Mitch's voice and want to hear more. As the saying goes "You ain't heard nothin' yet!"
Watch Mitch's voice range here: czcams.com/video/X4YjMKjLkZ0/video.html
Pentatonix, or PTX for short, has hundreds of videos with billions of views. If you do one or two (or more) Pentatonix videos a week, your channel numbers will go waaaaay up.
My favs are "The Sound of Silence" and "The Prayer". They won't dissapoint!!
The spent $400 filmed in a closet and edited in the kitchen - won a grammy for this! You need to listen to the Prayer - it will blow your mind and yes they are big world wide!!!
3 Grammys, Multi-platinum award winners. They sell out huge arenas world wide. They have been together for 11 years with only one change. Kirstie and Mitch change their looks often, but the only change has been Avi, the bass, who left amicably in 2017 for personal/family reasons. He has since started a solo career. He was replaced by Matt.
Mitch is a counter-tenor and his voice has been called a « once in a generation voice. »
They are mostly a capella, but they occasionally use instruments. They don’t record anything they can’t do on stage so if you don’t see an instrument, there isn’t one.
They are all incredible musicians. Kevin, the beat boxer, also plays cello and he performed at Carnegie Hall as a teenager. Once on cello, another time on saxophone. Scott, the tall baritone also plays concert-level piano. They do covers as well as originals. You have only scratched the surface. There is so much more!
You've got to go down the rabbit hole that is Pentatonix. They are huge and sell out arenas. Fans are called Pentaholics. Check out Mad World, Dance of the sugar plum fairy, The prayer, the sound of silence, and the 90s medley just to start.
Yes, this is a medley, but it's also a remix/master mix. There are times when multiple songs are being sung simultaneously. It's so seamless that I didn't notice until another reactor (who was more familiar with Daft Punk) noticed and pointed it out.
It's actually a nod to Daft Punk because they would do this in their concerts.
Remixes are also called mash ups.
@@jimcollier4114 Oh, very cool.
Yes they sell out arenas. I went to their Christmas concert tour last Dec. There were over 10,000 people in attendance. To see their crowd size, watch Joyful, Joyful live. It shows the crowd in several spots. Amazing. Since you seem to really enjoy Mitch’s angelic voice, you need to watch The Prayer. He sings the part sung by Celine Dion when she and Andrea Bocceli performed it. Many feel it should earn them their 4th Grammy. I subbed to hear more PTX. I am enjoying watching you discover their amazing news!!💕💕
These guys are the epitome of teamwork. Each one of these people could be a huge star in their own right but are extraordinarily supportive both vocally and personally of their band-mates. Each have a particular talent/vocal quality and they choose songs that give everyone a chance to shine. Bohemian Rhapsody is an excellent one but one of my favorites for showcasing everyone's particular talent is 90's Dance Medley. It's guaranteed to blow your mind.
They did a cover of Can you feel the love tonight and Mitch & Kirsty sing one after the other and if you are not watching you will not notice.
Also, there is an off mic version of this for a Make a Wish kid. Taking that it is recorded on a phone with little bass response it sounds almost the same
Daft Punk themselfs appeared in the audience in Melbourne, some years back, when Pentatonix performed this life. Daft Punk wanted to show them how thankful they were. Elmar. from Germany.
they won their first grammy for this arrangement.
Do they succeed? Three Grammys says yes. The mayor of Los Angeles recently proclaimed a Pentatonix Day and they are getting a square on the Hollywood Walk of Fame! Not to mention their sold out concerts! They are a big deal! Keep reacting to PTX!
No worries about blurring the video, PTX fans have seen them so many times. Your reaction is so fun to watch! Please do more!!
They won a Grammy with this song. After this they won 2 more. You ain't seen nothing yet señor ;)
Have you heard of a little outside theater called the Hollywood Bowl? Well, they performed there recently and they did pretty well... Oh... And they are as well in the "Hollywood Walk of Fame"
Does that answer your question?
Mitch's high range is unusual but it's the quality of his tone in that range that is so stunning. All members of the group agree that he is the best singer of them all. If one of them falters they listen to Mitch to get sorted out.
I disagree with all of them, lol, but we're probably using different criteria. He definitely knows his tones.
Pentatonix has a large youtube presence, BUT they got their start by winning season three of “the sing-off”. It was an acapella only “american idol” style tv show. Their performances on the show can be found on youtube, but on some random person’s channel, not theirs. They won the record deal prize but shortly after their record label dropped them as it couldn’t see how to market them. They took their talents to youtube, won a grammy with this song while unsigned, and got themselves a new contract. They do still rely heavily on their millions of youtube followers, but they produce real studio albums (both covers and original work) and sell out stadiums on their almost constant tours.
One thing to note: the bass (avi, in the beard) left the group in 2017, all music videos after that feature Matt Salee as their new bass.
With 3 Grammy's they are quite big in business 😀 Check out their originals as well
Pentatonix has won several Grammys, and they do world tours and they are one of the biggest A cappella bands out there.
That smile....IS contagious😉
Welcome to the world of Pentatonix. There concerts are big, I have been to 4 of them. Take a day and binge watch this group, you will never be the same, never!!!
Yes, their concerts are usually in large arenas. I've seen them and they sound just as good in person plus they banter with each other and the audience.
I loved the look of stunned disbelief. Ooh, boy---this is going to be fun. . . "Love Again" is another stunner.
Great reaction! Happy to see you discover this amazing group of artists and kudos to your sister for suggesting them. They have quite a carreer outside of CZcams as they have released an album nearly every year for the last decade, have won multiple Grammys and yes, they sell out Arenas on tour. CZcams will always have a special place in thier heart I'm sure because it kept them going and growing when thier label dropped them early on. Christmas themed music is their forte and is a regular staple in our house during the holidays but they pull from a wide range of other genres as well. Their cover of Bohemian Rapsody is simply mind blowing. Enjoy the ride!
Oh ! Please don't apologize for stopping, I love it. I'm here for your reactions, which I'm loving by the way.
For Christmas check out "O Come All Ye Faithful" (whether you're Christian or not). And because you already know "Sound of Silence" from S&G and Disturbed, you might like to add Pentatonix's version.
So glad you are on this journey because I am loving your reactions. Please keep going.
Sound of Silence, Problem, awesome Christmas Hits (Mr Grinch is my favorite), Favorite Things, Aha (Singapore live versions will blow your mind). And so much more....
Subbed for more PTX. They started doing small venues at universities, mall openings…anything and everything. Now they sell out arenas. The pandemic shut down their world tour (2020) so their last tour (2021)was a USA Christmas tour and even that was big venues….for a Christmas concert!
What a fun reaction. Love the Mitch-slap moments.
They’re all amazing! Avi (bass) really does it for me, though. Pure awesomeness! ❤❤
PTX fans are global and YES in their career they have and continue to have HUGE venue sales. They just recently played their dream venue in there city, the Hollywood bowl it is a 17,000 seat venue and they definitely almost sold out. Probably around 15,000 in attendance if not more. They started out on a singing competition and they did amazingly well. They got a record contract through that competition, but soon after the record label dropped them, thinking that acapella wouldn't really make sales or do well in the industry. After the whole band moved to LA, they didn't really have many choices so they turned to CZcams to build a bigger fan base. It paid off!!!. The vast majority of pentaholics have been rocking with them since 2011, and we will keep riding with Pentatonix until the very end. I hope you continue your journey because it is a magnificent adventure! 🙏🏾❤️😁
Live and without microphones: czcams.com/video/tw4YCsHXKgI/video.html
Loved your reaction. Each PTX member have large ranges. Which means the lowest note to the highest note they can sing is wider than most people can only dream of singing. Which gives them so many more options when the time comes to do an arrangement of a song. For more Mitch? My favorites are "The Prayer", "Bohemian Rhapsody", "Aha, Singapore at the Star Vista". I also love their live performances at "Pop Spring 2016", "Joyful, Joyful". I know you will have such fun exploring PTX. I'll enjoy watching you.
To answer your question: yes, they did make it big! They had a packed show at the Hollywood Bowl fairly recently (not sure if it was completely sold out bc I'm a bit out of the loop but like.... it's the Hollywood Bowl, that's awesome enough), they just released their yearly Christmas album and they're currently gearing up for an overseas tour next year, which is far from their first ever.
For your future reactions I would definitely recommend Love Again - it's an original of theirs that isn't reacted to super often, but it's just amazing and features Mitch on the lead vocal, who you seem to like a lot. Otherwise, another popular one to react to is their cover of Bohemian Rhapsody; they handle this behemoth of a classic phenomenally and, again, it's very Mitch-heavy. It's always awesome to see people start to dig into the PTX rabbithole.
Welcome to the rabbit hole. I hope you have a great time. And there is a "Mitch slap" in everything that they do as his voice is pure magic.
Please do Sound of Silence. They have three Grammys one for Daft Punk one for Sugar Plum Fairy and one with Dolly Parton Jolene. They are just as good live as they are on their tracks. Looking forward to you reacting to more Pentatonix.
yes I just saw them at the Hollywood bowl....they have received 3 Grammy's they have sold millions of albums...yes they are a big time group
If you want to see how big their shows are check out "Joyful, Joyful" from their Evergreen tour, there is a shot of the audience that will blow your mind !!!
Thank you for reacting. I love Pentatonix (aka PTX) Subbed for more PTX! Will be here for it if you jump into this rabbit hole. Beware...it's deep! But so satisfyingly wonderful! Fans range from 1 to101 in all walks of life! If you go to a concert you will see all ages totally enjoying them. They are truly amazing and best of friends.
And they always have so much fun!!! They are as big as they come! They are spectacular!🙌
They're not a CZcams band. They were the Season 3 winners of the acapella talent show "The Sing Off" where other acapella groups would compete with others. They truly stood out their season and they were a force to be reckoned with. The show ran for 5 seasons from 2009 - 2014.
This was all recorded in Avi’s (the base) closet and filmed in his kitchen. This song won them their first Grammy. The first appeared in the Sing-off, it was an A cappella singing competition. They are one of the biggest names in A cappella. They are an amazing group.
They didn’t make it from CZcams… PTX was the winner of an Acapella singing competition (tv show) and showcased afterwards on CZcams. Their first 3 albums were covers, then slowly they added more and more original music in. The group has evolved a lot, and yes they definitely sell out arenas lol. Can’t wait to see more of your reactions!
Thank you for more PTX! You might also like Love Again (original), Sound of Silence, Mary Did You Know, Amazing Grace, Gold (Kiiara cover), Evolution of Michael Jackson, and more
Their concerts sell out all over the world!
P.S think that this group won the talent competition. And soon after that the label Pentatonix was on got dropped. The label didn't know how to sell these guys. And they won Grammy award in their 1st years in as a group.
I saw them live in Melbourne a few years back, this original lineup before Avi left and Matt joined. It wasn't an arena show, but still thousands of people - not a small gig.
They opened the show with this song, and it sounded just as good live. They really are that good.
Enjoyed your reaction! Check out their “evolution of…” videos. They are more medleys. Start with the Michael Jackson one. Then if you want to see them perform live, check out their 2016 Pop spring performance. They do 3 originals and the Evolution of Michael Jackson. It’s about 20 min but so worth it! The Pentaholics never complain about long videos, we’re here for it!
Also, check out another great a capella group called Home Free. They do covers of all types of music and they tour all over America, Canada and have had a couple of European tours. Even Avi from Pentatonix has sang with them. I think you will like them.
I got to see them in concert. It was a pretty main venue in Seattle. They actually started off as a acapella band in 'The Sing Off'. They were 5 people compared to other groups sporting numbers in the double digits, and they won. This was one of the songs they did LIVE on tv. They are insanely talented, each and every one of them.
Since then, Avi (the sick bass who can do Mongolian throat-singing and ungodly low notes) has broken off from the group and started his own band, Avriel and the Sequoias.
Another added note, they started out on a competition show called the Sing Off.
They have played the Hollywood Bowl twice. They do sell out arenas.
They have three Grammy awards.
Loving your reactions and subbed! I would recommend Bohemian Rhapsody in the near future (but you absolutely cannot go wrong with anything that PTX does!) Keep 'em coming!
You are sooo fun. Keep up the great reactions.
They are a legit group out in the real world.
Couple of things to keep in mind. Mitch & Kirsten changes their looks damn near every video. Only 1 member change; bass singer Avi (jesus in a beanie) left in 2017 and replaced with Matt (another chocolate boi).
Thank you for sharing your time with us. ☮️
Pentatonix can fill auditoriums but not stadiums. They aren't "just a CZcams" band, they are full-fledged artists, with MULTIPLE Grammy wins!
Yes. Mitch is a counter tenor with like a 6+ octave range. He'll regualrly blow your mind with his vocal agility and range. I am so happy you've decided to continue the PTX journey. You won't be dissappointed, I promise!! Scott, the blonde baritone also has stupid crazy range and vocal agility. Kirstie is just angelic. And Kevin the beatboxer. He's a human 808. The man is just astonishingly talented. And Avi the bass will blow your mind and headphones on a regular basis. Just get used to it. This song won them their first Grammy. Filmed in a kitchen. Recorded in a closet. Had a budget of about $400. You can't go wrong with anything Pentatonix you react to. They have a decade worth of absolutely mind blowing music for you to go through. Covers and originals. They actually won a TV show. But SONY dropped them right after they moved to LA. So they took to You Tube and made it on their own. They have won 3 Grammys. Starred in TV specials, made cameos in movies. They sell out concerts around the world. Have millions of rabid fans around the world. Have toured on pretty much every continent at this point. They are just about to start another holiday tour here in the states. Will tour Europe in the spring and Japan in the summer. They have their own disney movie streaming on Disney + on Dec. 2nd.
Love love love Enjoyed your reaction. Thx for sharing.
They have sold out many tours and have traveled all over the world on world tours, so yeah, they are very big. They won 3 Grammys and are getting a star on the Hollywood walk of fame, and Los Angeles just dedicated a day just for them called Pentatonix Day. they have collaborated with music legends like Dolly Parton, Kelly Clarkson, Smoky Robinson, Stevie Wonder, and many more. They have many albums and they are about to go on another christmas tour. Their song Valentine is one of my favorites and Mitch(high-pitch voice guy) sounds like an angel.
I love watching people reacting to PTX for the 1st time. It's like reacting myself all over again. Keep going. Gets better!💕✌🏼
Oh yeah, they sell out arenas every year. They have a Christmas tour coming up starting out at the Oakland Arena where the Golden State Warriors play home games. Where I live, they were the second group, following Paul McCartney, to open up our brand new arena, The Golden One Center. They are one of the biggest groups to never make it onto radio which all us fans think is criminal but honestly not even necessary these days.
They are a family and will always be a part of their lives. Scott could have gone solo after high school but he went to USC and met Ben Brum who convinced Scott to try out for the NBC "sing-off" show and he grabbed his 2 besties to enter the contest. Scott and Mitch met age 10 doing a play, "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory". Mitch and Kirstin met around age 8 as they were Community Arts Theater kids.
Their parents had to drive them around for plays/ performance so they know each other well. Mitch's dad best friend is Scott's dad. There is a "Beginner's Guide to PTX" that shows names as they sing. You will see their accomplishments as they perform segments of songs you might want to react and post.
The reason that Kevin Olusola is wearing the glasses is that he had a bad reaction to the contact lenses being used (if you check Avi, the bass, you will see how red his eyes are). This production won PTX their first Grammy and was completed in one week, with a budget of $400, using Avi Kaplan's closet as their sound-booth.
YES! They are huge!
They do sold out concerts all around the world. They have a christmas special on tv every year. They have 3 grammys. They won a tv show (sing off) but were dropped from their label, they used youtube to continue their music and build their fanbase and absolutely blew up over time. They put in the work and now are massive.
PTX is HUGE, i saw them in Sydney in 2020 just before the world closed. AMAZING LIVE. a few favorites Say Something, Mary Did you Know, Imagine, Bohemian Rhapsody.
Yep, they sell out arenas, and they do it globally. They originally won the Sing Off tv show and earned a record contract, but when they all moved to LA, the recording company pulled out, so they jump-started their careers themselves on CZcams, going from recording on the couch to getting recording contracts and 3 Grammys, including for this which they recorded in a closet and kitchen of one of their apartments.
Yes, they sell out concert halls (maybe not Arenas, but decent concerts) and they can pull everything off live in concert. Check out some of their live videos, eg their live performance of Hallelujah from some Xmas TV-Show. Insane!
@Philip. They definitely sell out arenas. They spent their 9th anniversary with a sold out concert at Madison Square Garden in New York. In Canada they were selling out arenas in 2019. In my area their live show was about 3 months before I knew about them. :( Actually, I would love to see/hear them in the intimacy of a concert hall.
as a music lover I listen to everything even if I don't understand the language I just love the sound of music I just recently stumbled across a reaction on pentatonix the sound of silence one of my favorite songs and every since then I am hooked on them and yes of course I have been mitch slapped his voice is out of this world I love listening to them
You go on wit’ ya bad seff, Columbus! 🤘🏾Every song you “discover” will be such a joy for you. I recommended “The Prayer” in my last comment on your reaction to “Hallelujah”, and so I will reiterate: Please do a reaction to PTX’s rendition of “The Prayer”. Your jaw may not come up off the floor for several days, but we’re all cool with that. 😊 Seriously, though, it’s some of the most intricate and heartfelt work they’ve ever done. Thanks! Glad to have you in our big huge PTX family!
To give you real feels, watch 'Imagine'. Happy boppy, 'Sing'. Haunting 'Run to you', an original, also their covers of 'Say Something' and 'Mad world'. Jaw dropping 'Bohemian Rhapsody '.
Mitch is a counter-tenor. And you have been Mitch-slapped again. Don't worry, to Pentaholics being Mitch-slapped is a good thing. 🙂
You have no idea how big PTX is. Scott, Mitch, and Kirstin have been singing together since they met in school. Then they added Avi and Kevin so that they could compete in the American "Sing-off" television competition. Since then they have done several albums as well as Christmas specials and concerts around the country and in Europe. Their CZcams cover of Leonard Cohen's "Hallelujah" is approaching three-quarters of a BILLION views. You have found a serious rabbit hole if you care to explore.
Mitch (the first guy) has such a lovely countertenor voice. And Avi (the bass) was a basso profundo! They had two of the more extreme voices around and they sounded AMAZING.
