Pass a Drug Test with CERTO? Is it Possible? Does CERTO actually work?

- CERTO (aka Sure Jell) thickens jams and jellies. However, someone, somewhere thought it would be a great idea to use this product to pass a drug test (how the heck did they think of that?). And ... according to many, using this product works! Advocates of using the CERTO method to detox claim that mixing one package with a 32 ounce sports drink (Gatorade) the night before the test and the morning of the test, will help pass a marijuana drug test.
So, does CERTO work? Is using the CERTO method of passing a marijuana drug test right thing to do? Remember, the idea behind this information is to educate individuals that CERTO and related methods would be considered manipulation for drug testing and would not be advised. Education and understanding what is acceptable to courts and employers is this key here.

Over the past many months I have received dozens of messages asking where CERTO and Sure Jell can be purchased. TESTIMONIAL: a little background on myself. I'm 5' 8 180lbs and I'm active most of the time meaning I don't sit on my butt all day. I was a heavy smoker usually consumed 1 blunt a day regularly. I'm here to say this method DOES WORK. For it to work properly you must stop smoking days before your test if you're a HEAVY USER. I stopped smoking 5 days prior to my test. During this time, I was detoxing and drinking plenty of water. I mixed 1 certro pack with a 32-ounce Gatorade, and consume 32-49oz of water. Also, take 6 b12 1000mcg tablets for color. Pee multiple times before testing 2 times minimum. Your 3rd and 4th pee should be clean. This time frame for me was about 1hr and 20 mins before I was able to pee clean. I tested myself also before going to the collection site, and it was negative. I was able to cut 30days down to just 5. No problem, anyone who has problems with the certo has to realize the certo is not the problem it is the way the person is performing the technique. So if you don’t do it the correct way your going to get failing results. Vit B12 helps because it “yellows” the pee and thereby reduce the risk of a lab tech telling you it looks diluted.

It's dumb that a crackhead or meth addict can pass a drug test in 3-5 days ( if they can quit that long) but Marijuana can last a month or longer.

Just passed my test with Certo!! Booom! Two packets with 32 oz Gatorade, multivitamin that has B-12, and 2- 16.9 oz bottles of water. Urinated about 4 times tested myself with negative results. Test was at 8am and drank mixture at 6am. My first drug screen was a fail due to being diluted. I drunk a gallon of water like most of the videos said. This time I only drunk about 32 oz. The nurse said they have brand new machines so I got nervous, but about 2 minutes later she said you passed! $20/hour. I’m done with edibles. Too much on the line.

At 8am I drank a 32 oz cranberry juice with certo, drink that within 10 minutes..then drink 3 bottles of water . As soon as I was done I did it again ( 32 oz cranberry juice 3 bottles of water). I pissed 3 times before my test. I swear to you I passed and I’m now making 28$ an hour I promise of you do it this way your good bro💯

I am a heavy smoker I stopped for 2 days then drank only water and had high fiber and protein meals. The day of the test I drank a total of 4 bottles of water and 3 hours till my test I took one certo with red Gatorade then 2 hours before I took b12 and one more certo and Gatorade after finishing it I filled it with water and drank it. Pissed probably 4 times before test but at the time of the test it was completely clear. I STILL PASSED THIS METHOD WORKS!!!
It’s unfortunate that they even test to THC, Because it stays in the bodies system for so long they can’t even range the most recent time you’ve smoked. Also I love how actual addicts can wait 3-5 days for their system to clear for them to pass.
It's completely unfortunate. In a state where cannabis is legal, why test for something that someone may have legally consumed days or weeks earlier? If so, why not test for alcohol and if we are doing that, why not test for aspirin, tylonol, melatonin ... etc. Thanks for the comment.

I had to take 2 tests cause my first came back diluted negative. I did what they said (drink 1 round of it night before, next morning drink 2 hrs b4 & pop the B-complex pill and drink 2 bottles of water) but too close to my 1st test time!! I think I chugged tea after all this too so this may have made it too diluted, bc others say that method DOES work, I just messed it up.
So for my second time, and i had smoked a couple days before this too 😬, I got the certo and Gatorade but ONLY drank 1 packet, 3 hours before my test. chugged around 7:50 AM, then drank half a water bottle and took the B complex, went to 9AM class & took sips there. After class went to the BR. You can drink smoothies n stuff in btwn but nothing with too much water.
For me I only had a bfast sandwich so my body could filter out more than the water and certo mix. Had that around 10AM, then drove to my test (10:45) but had to wait a good 30 mins there so took it around 11:15. I had to pass or I wouldn’t have been able to start my prog til next semester. Nurse joked that I may have put juice in my urine cause it looked too yellow😂 scared me but that was it. Day later I got my results & they were negative. 🥳
**Timing is key for this, don’t do it too soon and if you do limit yourself to one water bottle and eat something with protein (eggs, cheese, meat). They say certo stays in ur system up to 5 or even 7 hours.
I say it’s safer to do within 3-4 hours, starting at when you take the drink till you take your test. I also got a few dollar store drug tests, a faint line is still considered negative so just be aware and don’t over think it!
for anybody else wondering about timing should listen to this person. its best to take it 3-4 hours before the test but 4-6 works too just wouldn’t recommend it.

It works, was on probation and was told I’d be tested every month. Covid hit and I never got tested so decided to smoke until they told me to get off I had to test. I had smoked 3 days prior and did a packet a day before and 20 mins before I left my house and passed their test. Genuinely surprised the hell out of me ngl

If you buy a box of certo there are 2 packets in it. I suggest buying 2 boxes and 4 (28-32oz) Gatorades. One packet per Gatorade. Drink 2 the night before and when you wake up pee then drink the other 2 before testing. If you can’t pee drink water to make you pee then drink the other 2. You want to make sure it is in your system before testing. Reason why you pee before drinking other 2 is because you want to pee everything that was sitting in your stomach throughout the night. You NEVER want to give first pee of the day for urine test. I’ve used this method plenty of times for both probation and to get jobs. Quick and easy. Thank me later.

I smoked and that same morning I chugged cerro and Gatorade I made sure to pee at least two times before my test and also drink a lot of water and I passed it later on that day!

This shit actually works, I smoked the night before my test too. My test was at 3:30 pm, so I drank 2 packs of certo during lunch at school lmfao(11:30 a.m.). After I drank the certo I started sippin on my water the rest of the day until I went in for my test. I might’ve gotten lucky, because the nurse said that my pee might’ve been too clear, and I might have to re pee. But a week went by and my test results came back negative. So I’d advise ingesting something that adds a little color to your pee before you go take your test. Good luck guys let’s get this bread

I tried it and it works. Drug tested myself and was positive in the morning and then I drank this and some water and waited for 5 hours tested again and tested negative.
The b vitamin and the creatine and copious amounts water is dilution, bvitamin for color, creatine to show present creatinine-levels in the eurine, kinda a double whammy approach
It definitely works. I used this method 2 years ago and passed after not smoking for 3 days. I got dollar store tests to test for it the day before and worked as well. I am coming back to this topic as I need it again, will update if it works the 2nd time through.

Here’s my story, hope this helps. I’ve been smoking for almost 5 years now and don’t smoke nearly as much as I used to, just a few hits every other day. I get tested often now and have used certo on probably 8 tests and have passed every time, sometimes even a couple days before the test so it definitely works for me. Im 5’9, 175ish. Just mix a pack of certo with Gatorade the night before and a couple hours before and it’s worked for me every single time.
When you do it will it mask the thc for a sertain amount of Time or does it completely clean your system

tried it myself guys. It worked for me. I’m 6’2 between 195-200 lbs I’m fairly active cuz I work out and lift weights and love basketball. I also eat fairly well. No fast food no fried and no junk food really. So that may be a huge help. Regardless of the matter I still smoke weed and I should have a positive test but I used this method and it worked I gotta negative. My only Issue tho w my experience is that my pee came out really clear but that means I need take more b12 vitamins. I only took one 2500 mg tablet so.This was just a practice run for me guys my real test might be coming soon so wish me luck🤞🏾🤞🏾

I had it work one time, and didn’t another with the exact same steps and processes followed. A year later, I had a job call in my lap. My test is today. I don’t think the certo helps, but rather the water and Gatorade does all the work. Trying it again without the certo I’ll let you know how it goes.

@@323adam I did. Was clean for ~7 days (with my usage dropping significantly over the past couple weeks before that. Maybe one or two hits a day).
Test was at 11:45.
1. Drank a glass of water @ 8:30 with 2 B12’s and 3 creatine tablets (suggested serving size)
2. 9:30 Drank a drink called plexus slim (it’s a metabolic drink that makes you pee / holds in metabolites) drank about a bottled water’s worth of it.
3. Sipped on a Gatorade until I left for the test
4. Drank 3/4 of a Gatorade when I was about 10 min out.
Overall, a lot less liquid than most people say is necessary, but not too little.
Edit: I’m also 6’0 and I’m super skinny so that can change things too

Update.. I failed both of my at home tests. Still went in to take the one for pre employment and failed that one miserably too.
It 100% worked for me ! Tested myself prior to using Certo then Tested myself during/ after the process first test was positive but i didnt piss the first couple times as suggested i forgot! But after tho the second and 3rd came out negative ! Then right after results i took the drug test for a new job and passed with no questions asked...my suggestion definitely test yourself prior to testing to make sure its a go . Amazon has good prices for multiple Thc test kits.

It always worked for me if i abstained from marijuana for 2 days and then used the method the morning of the test. Only fail i ever had was when i try to give myself one day.

This was my 5th drug screen and guys tbh it was a surprise but luckily I kept 3 packets of certo saved just in case I even bought 2 more so what I did I drank 3 yesterday and drank a lot of water but I didn’t drink them all I once I waited like 1 hour and 30 mins in between of each then I actually drank milk half a gallon Idek why I had that idea but I did then today at 12pm I took one packet and a Gatorade then at 2pm another one then I drank a big bottle of cranberry juice and I passed
I did the Sure Gel trick and the results came back too diluted, so the company told me I had to get a hair test done within 2 hours if I still wanted the job. So on one hand you could pass the test, but you really got to make sure you got enough vitamins and all that in your system so it'll detect nutrients in the urine.
I can also confirm this method works. Was on probation for 4 years and I never failed a UA with Certo.

I have a drug test tomorrow. I stopped smoking exactly two weeks front today and was doing at home tests within these two weeks and I’m getting a second super super almost non existent faint line. So I decided to try this method. I wanted to test it out the night before. I mixed it in Gatorade, peed about 3 times and tested 2hrs after drinking the certo and I got a negative result! The line was no longer faint. This definitely works but I would suggest taking the b2 pills for the color of urine otherwise it’ll probably be way too diluted. Also beware of stomach cramps and needing to go #2. Definitely had a laxative effect for me. Good luck everyone! I’ll come back and update if I pass to tomorrow.

Just passed a pre employment drug and alcohol test today at 1 pm. I'm a very heavy user (dabs, joints, edibles) daily. 6 ft 1, 265 lbs well built (muscular) but still 40 lbs over weight. Stopped smoking for 2 days prior to D&A test. Take a few pills of activated charcoal daily for 2 days prior to D&A and day of. Day before test and day of hydrate with plenty of water. 2 hours before your piss test chug 1 certo liquid pectin pouch in regular any flavor Gatorade bottle. Drink plenty of water. 45 minutes after your first certo packet, drink the 2nd packet in the box with another Gatorade. Drink as much water as you can and piss as many times as possible before your test. Make sure you take vitamin b12 approx 1.5 hours before your test to color your urine yellow ( you will be peeing very clear diluted urine). Go get your test done and enjoy your new job ladies and gents :)

Okay so here’s my little situation. I’m planning on getting my cna but before I start my classes to do so I have a health screening which also includes a DRUG screening... I smoke, I’m a lightweight but after I learned I was being tested I stopped. It’s been 4 days since I’ve last smoked. Tomorrow is my screening, I have bought apple cider vinegar, a gallon of water, and ofc certo and Gatorade. Since this screening is at a hospital I feel as if they’ll know for sure I smoke...because they’re nurses and they have so many methods of drug testing. I still am unsure if my test will be a urine test but I’m hoping it is. I’m so nervous 😩 but I’m testing this out and praying to god. I’ll keep anyone who cares updated. WISH ME LUCK.

Praying for you too. I /MIGHT/ be tested in 16 days and I made the stupid decision of taking e couple of hits 3 days ago at a friend's party. However I have a lot of medicine that I have to take that will slow down my metabolism significantly and I don't know personally how long it will stay in my system but I'm freaking out and praying and doing everything I possibly can. Shit don't work. High voltage double flush don't work either. J did everything exactly as the directions said only drank the amount of water directions said. I got lucky and didn't have to take a test but 3 hours later at home did a test and failed.
Since most people aren’t coming back to let people know if they passed or not, I will. So yesterday I had to see my po I did certo and tested myself right before I went in and failed my at home test, so I told my PO I had a test in college in 30 minutes and I couldn’t go pee so he told me to comeback up today to take the drug test.
I did certo last night only one packet then woke up 3 hours before the test drank 2 packets mixed in Gatorade, then proceeded to drink about 7 or 8 10 ounce glasses of water. Probably peed 4 or 5 times, right before I pulled up to the probation office I stopped at a gas station and tested myself and I was still failing. I pulled up the probation office, tried to go pee and I couldn’t so I drank another bottle of water and about an hour later I went pee in drug test, I wasn’t sure on how much pee I had so I peed a little bit in the toilet then switched into the cup mid stream and I somehow ended up passing the drug test.
I have done certo before, this is the second time I’ve been on papers and I had failed anytime I didn’t quit for at least a week. This time I had quit for 11 or 12 days so I’m just letting y’all know anyone who is going to use it make sure you quit for about 10 before the test or else you will still fail.
Forgot to mention I was smoking everyday for the 4 years and was smoking wax everyday for the last year and when I say everyday I mean I would wake up and smoking and wouldn’t quit smoking until I went to sleep

I can’t gaurentee a pass but after not smoking for a week, drinking creatine daily aswell as taking certo I waited to test on the 3rd go and I passed! Also I only used 1 pack but for safety reasons probably would recommend both

took one certo the night before and one a couple hours before the test. But you don’t have to do two!! I use the dollar tree test to make sure they were negative before I went in there. Took 3 b complex pills and drank about 32 oz of water.
Make sure the b complex has niacin and b6, it makes your pee yellow
Take the certo about 1 1/2 to 2 hours before your test. Continue to test your pee with the dollar tree test up until you go get tested to make sure they are negative.

I did the Certo hack and tested myself shortly after, the test came out positive for thc but i forgot to piss a couple times beforehand. so after i did that i tested myself again wich came out negative wich then i felt comfortable enough to take actual drug test for new job and passed with no questions asked my suggestion is test yourself first before actual drug test Amazon has good prices for bundle packs .note stomach did ache later that night but could have been either the Certo or Burrito that night lol but all good either way i passed 🙌

I can confirm this method works. I'm not a heavy guy, but I have NO metabolism at all. Even after 2 weeks of not smoking and detoxing with endless tea and fruit juice I was testing positive on the home tests from Walgreens. As a last resort I tried the Certo-Gatorade method and passed. Chicago, LabCorp 5/23. Unless you're in a transportation job or operating heavy machinery, I just don't understand the point of testing for THC these days. Sad waste of resources.
I work manufacturing with CNC and huge granite pieces. If I didn’t smoke every night I would not get any sleep, PTSD night terrors. It’s what makes me so good at my job! But if my workplace tested I’d be out of a job. Great system we have. Only reason it’s illegal is to lock up minorities and the poor, notice how the good jobs require these tests?

Worked for me I used 2 litres of gatorade with a satchel of certo in each, drank both over a 3 hour period before the test with a teaspoon of creatine. A b12 AND A multi vitamin was taken an hour before the test and I took 2 aspirins 4 hours prior to the test. I passed for weed and benzos i take benzos everyday this was for a proper lab test to get a job with a big mining company. Dont drink water stick to gatorade water will dilute the sample too much. Make sure to piss a couple of times over the 3 hours before to the test. If you follow these instructions and don't leave anything out you will pass. Im also from Australia so I used a different brand of fruit pectin still worked. Goodluck!

Ok guys, I am doing this method for probation. I just experimented with an at home test , right after drinking it , failed, i then waited a couple hours took some b vitamins , and passed the at home test . I go tomorrow for my test after work , I will consume another pack of certo in a Gatorade before bed . Another tomorrow morning , and another two hours before the test . Going to be supplementing b vitamins and creatine , for color and proper nutrient levels (or whatever) . I’ll post back here to let everyone know how it went

I also have 100%success rate with at least 10 jobs and once I literally smoked the day before but don’t recommend keeping on using till the day of. Anyway what I was told and have tried is drink a packet of liquid certo with water (I see Gatorade makes urine yellow apparently on here) and watch out cuz it’s like not for pleasure lol it’s horrible to get down so hold your nose. Drink it at least 1-2hours before the test and at least pee twice before your test. You’re welcome stoners good luck
It works. I’ve done it over and over again. Literally smoked same day and took the Certo in a 32oz Gatorade, drank half, poured in the second pack, drank the rest, filled the bottle up twice with water, pissed twice, went to the test and passed. Did this everytime for a job. I’m an everyday weed smoker. You don’t need to take all that extra shit. Just Certo. You don’t need creatine or a b12

Clear would suggest to many, dilution! You may or not be of course, but that is the belief among many. A B vitamin adds color (yellow) to the urine.
So dumb that it can’t be clear. On any given day my pee is usually clear.

For employment it has raised - back in '07 I failed a job urine screening... I called the lab & he told me I was at 28 ng/mL on a cut off of 14 ng/mL

Those who successfully practice this recommend suggest taking the product twice - once the night before the test and again 2-3 hours before the test. As I have said many times, I don't recommend this method in a court of law. Thanks for the comment and question!

DAY 1- I TOOK THE CERTO WITH A GATORADE ( small size) AND DRUNK 2 BOTTLES OF WATER BEHIND IT FAILED BOTH TEST THAT DAY I PISS 2-3x before taking one test about a 1hr and half in. The 2nd one was taken a hr after the first one and it was also positive for MJ as well
I passed with my at home tests. The first time I failed because I drunk a half gallon of water and tried it. The second time I did it, I drank two bottles of water. Peed 4 times, then my 5th piss I took the test and it said negative. Used another test for my 6th and it said negative. 4 hours later, it was positive.
I keep seeing comments of people who did this, and it worked, after quitting for a few days or weeks. I just now smoked and I have a drug test tomorrow at 10:30.. idk why I did it. I guess because I didn’t know I was going to be tested for this job until after the interview so I didn’t have any time to quit anyways. I smoke 3-4 blunts a day but I’m only 5’2 and 120lbs and my metabolism is pretty fast. So hopefully this works I really need the job right now :/

(38 years old 6ft, 260lbs) It's the only method that I've used that works every time. Sometimes I pee too diluted as a result but I've never tested positive for marijuana after the sure jell method. I can't say the same for 12 hour detox drinks. I tried a popular 12 hour detox drink that was $25. Followed the directions to a T and failed my drug test.

That is the tricky part of the detox "method." The only (rather obvious) advise when trying not to dilute is drink a little less water (yes, sorry - obvious and perhaps not easy to do).

Creatine. The b12 may help with color but they judge dilution by creatine levels. I ate only red meat the day before, and also drank creatine. DO NOT think that the b12 will show it's not diluted. Yeah it will make yellow piss but once it goes it that machine, it will be judged on creatine levels

This still works, here is my method. (Note: I weigh 130 Lbs and i have a fast metabolism, and i’m on probation ) So what I do is get a box of the certo liquid the powder works too don’t listen to what people say saying it doesn’t i literally passed with both, I put it in a gatorade about a week before the test cause i think that the chance of passing a U/A is greater when I do that you will notice the drink gets more like a jelly substance over the days so that will be a good thing. Another key factor is to make sure to not smoke for atleast a week 3 days works fine but smoking on probation is already taking a fat risk. on the day of the test i am going to use today for example since i passed mine today and smoked 5 days ago, i drank it around 2:30-2:40 while i was in school (it was not that easy to drink due to the sour taste it had ) and Peed about 3 times make sure after you drink it that your pee is clear and on my fourth piss i passed with no issues. sorry if my spelling isn’t good i’m a lil tired lol and i hope this helps to atleast someone because i wanted to get my way of using this method out there , stay safe everyone and stay high!🍃

If you are a heavy smoker I would say likely this method will not work for you, I tried everything before my drug test and failed about 10 at home drug tests.
If you are a lighter smoker then you got a chance.

I’ve used this before, but I got into a corner, and smoked like yesterday. I took a certo and got 4 positives, I have a test tomorrow, and I’m going to drink two certos, and the b12 with creatine before, wish me luck. I’ll update if it works. I need this job. It worked last time, so I’m kinda freaking out here when I got so many positives.

Hey, I have drug test Monday morning but it’s not an appointment, so they open at 7 and accept walk ins so I plan to get there at 7, and be seen when they call me back. So I should drink the certo at 7pm the night before and then pee 4-5 times, and then drink the other certo at 6am? Since that’s 1 hour before they open? And then pee again how many times?? Plz respond need help

It all depends how much of a heavy smoker you are . If you smoke one joint ever other day then youll probably will pass the test . But for a extreem heavy smoker thats smoke ten blunts a day for the last fifteen year i dont think itll work quik

It still works for heavy smokers. Trust me. My bf only took one pack of certo and 2 b-12 and almost a gallon of water. He smoked the day and night before the test too. To be more sure I would say take a certo pack the night before and one 2-1.5 hours before test.
