Wonderful speech loved him when he was in the Mets broadcast booth with Ralph Kiner and Steve Zabriski. Although I’m a Met fan always thought the Cardinals were great and a classy organization. My Met fan friends don’t like the fact that my favorite baseball player is McCarver’s successor behind the plate Ted Simmons. So thank you Cardinals for my two favorite baseball catchers Timmy and Simba!
