Hi Kaye, That was an excellent video! You explained everything thoroughly and I think I’m ready to give them a try. I’m not a real walnut lover but I might like them better roasted 🤔 Pecans are my favorite though… And my absolute favorite are candied pecans but on low carb or KETO you don’t want the sugar. Thanks for sharing and I’ll see you soon, Dolores 🥰
The Baking Diva thank you! Hey I think you could make the candied pecans with the Swerve brown sugar. Have you tried it? It’s tastes a lot like regular brown sugar to me. I may have to try it and see. Thanks for giving me that idea and thanks for watching. ❤️
Thrilled to find your recipe I ran to the kitchen to try it. I only had a pound of Walnuts so I cut the butter in half, and paid no attention to the fact that it was salted butter when I added the salt. I now have a lovely pound of them that look and smell terrific but are too salty to eat. Do you or anyone have any ideas on what I can do to save them and make them eatable?
Aww! I haven’t seen anyone fix them this was since I was a teenager! My mom always did it this way...I think people decided to get onto the sugar bandwagon and stopped fixing these with salt. Personally, I like it this way best! Yum!🌷🚍
FR3 At Last thank you! I prefer the salty over the sweet too!! These are great to have on hand for unexpected guests during the holiday season to snack on. Easy and delicious! Thanks so much for your comment and for watching! ❤️

Great view, thank you!
Heather from Kneady Homestetter sent me over. Now I’m subscribed. Thank you. Good show.
Why is butter added, since walnuts have their own high oil content?
Also, you use a lot of salt.
However, you do explain everything very well.
I was wondering same.
Maybe thats how her and her husband like it
Ok I’m going to try it with 3# of walnuts. Thanks from Washington.
I did it. 20 minutes at 300 degrees for me
