Does anyone else come here just to let it all out when you can't hold it in anymore but just don't know how to release? I know I'm an emotionally unhealthy person, but boy does it help to just come to these kinds of vids every once a year to let the stream flow...

True… when I was young, my foster parents put fear in my bro and sisters if we said no, bc we did not like them nor their family. They wanted mad money. It’s good to know there are children out there who see parents as real ppl they way parents don’t see themselves.

My children (adults now) have a wonderful second Mum (we don't say "step") we have mum 1 and mum 2.
Donna is,and always has been,an absolute blessing - she's fun yet strict, she's playful yet watchful, she's kind, considerate and caring.
When my ex married her the whole family benefitted - she's one of my best friends and I love her to bits ❤️

i know this all too well. i was adopted before turning 4 years old. back then , all adoptions were sealed documents and were closed . i have had the luck and grace of god behind me , that i was able to find my biological mother after 35 years .

These videos are making me realize that I should do this for my dad. He's technically my step-dad but he's been there for me since I was a one year old! I've just always thought of him as "dad", but I think it would mean a lot to him to be recognized officially. I'm 35 now though, do y'all think it would be weird or awkward at my age? Or appreciated?

All too often you see the ugly side of the US (the gap between rich and poor and not to forget the political probs). However, it is nice to see the nice side, the humanity and love that is there. I wish every success to these families and touched by the love these 'ordinary' folk have - though, they are not ordinary, they are lessons to us all that there miracles do happen and true miracles are in the ordinary.

I'm sorry. I hope you find/have found some real family. Close friends, good people, "adopt" (doesn't have to be legal) them, let that be your family. It's what my father did, his biological parents were abusive. He left at 16 and was taken in by another family, best thing that ever happened to him.
