- Today marks the 20th anniversary of the Sega Dreamcast!! To celebrate, I attempted to learn Magneto's ROM infinite from Marvel vs Capcom 2!! MvC2 is one of my all-time favorite fighting games, so I'm excited to learn this iconic combo! Hope you enjoy!

Magnetos rom isn't that hard
ahh these were the days, when execution mattered entirely. I remember my first mvc2 tournament in nyc, i got destroyed but man that was one of the best experiences ever, my old self would never forget it!

You're not even doing magneto air dash df+ lk. Magneto has a crouching lk in the air which is used for the air dash.

If you destroyed your wrist doing this, then you should pick up a HitBox and save some wear and tear on your body.

Thanks for doing the MVC2 videos lately! It brought back so many memories. One thing that helps when the charactee is too high is to only do ONE light kick on the way up. For hyper grav tempest to combo, you have to do the hyper grav with LK and cancel into tempest as fast as possible.
magnetos infinite is super easy once you get it down. when you do the launcher set up, after the heavy kick- air dash down forward -the 2nd light kick is slightly delayed for positioning. after that when you super jump up, the 2 light kicks have no delay. next you very very slightly delay before the downward air dash (you want to downward air dash around when magneto's waist matches the enemy character's head for positioning) now when you do air dash downward , the first light kick is pretty much instantly after you do the air dash followed by a very very slight delay for the 2nd light kick.
I actually use a slide method for ROM. When I press LP and HP for the air dash down forward, I slide my index finger down from LP > LK. This way has been the most consistent for me, specifically to get the LK to come out fast enough after the air dash. Also, there are a lot of variations you go do, i.e. LK > addf > LK, MK, or LK > addf > LK, MP, etc. (sorry, not correct notation there) that I find actually a lot easier (that could just be placebo, though). Then there is a bit a delay after the super jump LK, MK before the air dash.
