The drummer/(heavy)vocalist, Ari Koivunen, is the 3rd season, (2007), Idols winner in Finland. In the semifinal he got 86% of the vote, singing Billy Joel's "Piano Man". Finnish karaoke champion in 2005, 3rd in the World Championship Karaoke 2005. Later he has suffered from severe vocal cord inflammation.
Marko and Juha are like homemade bread and butter out of the oven. It doesn't get any better than a raw uncut setting to showcase their vocal talent. ❤
Marko Hietala (pron: HEE-ah-Tallah) has a project out rt now called Pyre of the Black Heart in Finnish and English. Nuclear Blast records recently released a lyric video for the 3rd single, Dead God's Son.

9:15 not the same guy, but you've seen him (JP Leppäluoto) in a few other videos, such as Raskasta Joulua: "Little Drummer Boy" and the two songs by Northern Kings that you've reacted to.

Marko's dual neck is called "The Beast," 70# of wickedness. Great cover, but I prefer the live version by Feuerschwanz (featuring Thomas Winkler as Angus McFife) as it is much heavier. Saw you guys reacting to Tina S cover of Dragonforce. So, here's a suggestion of another cover of the drums of the same song 'through the fire and flames' by JUNNA a Japanese drummer . You will not regret it! I gave them some links to Feuerschwanz some time ago, I guess they missed those, and actually I forgot all about that. 🤪
Marko has a softer more introspective side. I think he is grappling with his own mortality as he grows older.
