last year I was send to the ER by my regular physician - when the ER asked me what the problem might be I could only give very vague answers and point them to the paperwork the family doctor handed me.
Communication and explanation is a real problem and I believe the issue is that the doctors are just hopelessly overworked and somehow have to manage the patient flow.
(Ended up beeing a false alarm in my case)

    • @gallaieousyehudai12
      @gallaieousyehudai12 Před 8 měsíci +3

From my experience, the distrust of doctors for me is why I do my own analysis. I had a pain that was irregular for my age, I told them where that pain was and when it occurred. They told my parents it was my gal bladder. I didn't trust them, years later after a few pains, I decided to figure out this problem. Instead of wasting money for experts, I did my own research for free. I came to the conclusion, it was inflammation in my pancreas. Knowing the doctors would prescribe terrible medicines, I instead figured out what was causing these inflammations.
It started in my teenage years from eating junk food, I stopped eating that junk food.
I stopped drinking those drinks that had those chemicals that inflammated my pancreas. In the mornings rarely it happens, I don't yet know why it happens.
Eating healthy, like fruits and veggies and drinking water dosent cause it. I don't drink sodas or eat too much junk.
Considering the doctors gave me adhd medicine when I was very young, and it screwed me up, I never trusted doctors or nurses, and I still don't.
I don't want to pay a huge hospital bill either.
Unless the situation is an actual emergency, I don't see myself going to the hospital or clinic willingly.

This was me up until 6 few months ago. For 10 years straight, I drank 3 cans of (normal) dr pepper a day, and when I was at work I would get a 44oz dr pepper from the fountain at the gas station every morning to keep me through the day. Almost 7 cans a day. I literally never drank water once in those 10 years. Like the guy in the video I would also get four 35 packs from sam's club every time I went. I would occasionally get random pains in my stomach, and I would pee at least once an hour. Also I would rarely feel muscle weakness for no reason too. What made me stop was I was scared to death of getting kidney stones, and I felt pains in my stomach/abdomen and was scared it was kidney stones. It wasn't kidney stones and idk what it was but it was probably related to my dr pepper intake. About 6 months ago I switched to only drinking juices like lemonade, grape juice, and apple juice, but I found out that those in excess are bad too, so a month ago I finally switched to only drinking WATER.

It's actually 8 cups of water but that's 8 measuring cups so those little bottles are two cups so four would be enough. since you drink caffeine you might need a little bit more water because they say it dehydrates or if you're active you might need a little bit more water.
They say 10 measuring cups if the person's active.
If you ever want to get away from soda but you want the caffeine just do unsweet tea and/or in the winter time you can do hot green tea. Green tea has less caffeine and if you put the tea bag in cold water and let it soak for an hour than it has less caffeine. It just takes longer if the water is not hot. But then you have to make it iced tea.

think about why you are addicted. did you feel the need to consume energy drinks and a bunch of caffeine because you felt tired? was it simply convenient to keep cans of energy drinks instead of going and drinking water? determine the reason, and this will tell you whether you can continue to drink caffeine in moderation or if you have to stay away completely.

Emu's video rings almost true to what i did a few years ago, drank like 3/5 cans a day, then at some point i would get very loose stools, accompanied by a stomach ache, naturally i stop drinking soda for at least 2 days or so, while drinking something else in that time like water.
Present day i drink alot more water but not close to the daily needed amount
(5 to 7 16 oz bottles) I don't drink soda as much as i used to as i don't buy the 24 can containers anymore, but only go to the local fast food joint and get a large size, in a sense i suppose i'm limiting my self in a way.
But now knowing that excessive sugar intake damages nerves and so on, it rings a bell on why sometimes my legs just give out and i tend to trip while walking, and the legs feeling weak, I also have nerve damage from birth called cerebral palsy, it's a weakness in limbs/nerves, now watching this video made me realize i'm killing my self, albeit very slowly.
There were times i had heart palpitations, body obviously telling my something obvious to cut back on the soda.
It's crazy how i saw my self being "Hosted" in that video, it was like a swift realization.
I was like: "Oh shit, that's me."
    Going off tangent here:
In regards to the workout regimen, i presume you have a fast metabolism, otherwise drinking soda and eating any kind of fast food or not a healthy diet will net you quite a bit of fat.
I'm kind of in the same way, i don't really workout, i consume probably an unhealthy amount of fast food, and i can eat ONLY pizza for 1 week but still skinny as a twig.
I'd have to eat til i get sick to even gain weight.
Last i tried an honest "food buff" to gain weight, it was exhausting as hell, eating like a litteral horse in the morning, when lunch came around, i wasn't even hungry but i still had to stuff my self.
Just doing that got me 10 kilograms in like 2 weeks or so. It was like a losing war effort.

1 200 IQ move 2 actually not incorrect
but also I think caffeine has to work a different way, because this adenosine can't work this way, and the reason why I say it can't work this way, is, I understand if caffeine made you less tired, but caffeine can literally make you have a heart attack, how is that exactly the reduction of tiredness, that's literal stim territory.
      but that's just my opinion.

    • @coliax8754
      @coliax8754 Před 7 měsíci +24

@@a-my9ql Caffeine has a similar structure than adenosine (witch makes you sleepy). That allows Caffeine to dock to the sensor that detects adenosine and therefore blocks it (it dosent triggers the sensore, but nothing else can dock to the sensor while Caffeine is sitting on it). So Caffeine dosent makes it that you dont see the stacks but more like it slows how fast you gain the stacks.
Also with time the body starts to build more sensors for adenosine to balance out your daly Caffeine intake . This means that over time Caffeine becomes less effective (and you become resistant to it, so what Asmos says at 26:22 that he feel immune is explaned by this, even tho you cant get a 100% immunity but a high resistance) , however this reversible, if you stop drinking Caffeine you at first get sleepy faster (because you now have more sensors => you gain Stacks faster) but with time the aditional sensor will get removes until you go where you where befor initial Caffeine consumtion.

I mean, I didn't use to like coffee, but I started to drink coffee because I found it as a good option to have the "taste" of something, it helps me to focus when I have a candy or stuff that has some flavor. And I didn't feel "energized" when I started to drink it. As matter of fact, never understood why some people are sleepy when they don't drink it. Or energized. For me, it's not different than drinking water.
What I did found recently, is that apparently, if I spend too much time without drinking coffee I get headaches, so I started to reduce my coffee consumption and see if that helps, because I hate to have weaknesses, I'm a level 36, for fucksake, can't afford one of those till I reach 60.

Preventative measures are FAR more effective than curative ones. Better to stop problems before they happen.
He's being mature and responsible; growing old with grace is NOT becoming a fat, lazy slob - it's about learning that your body continually changes you as you get older, you need to make adjustments to accommodate. It's definitely not easy; but it's something literally everyone will have to come to grips with eventually. Growing old with grace is looking after your body and mind; objectively, I would argue.
It's the difference between being mobile, healthy and active in your 70s, as opposed to being in a zimmer frame and on deaths door. You may have someone you know that made it further with worse health and living circumstances; but there's literally no guarantee you will be as lucky.
For all we know, this is the one chance you get at being alive - even if you believe otherwise, better to get the most out of it. I would say don't berate and judge Asmon for acknowledging he's getting older and needs to change some of his behaviors to accommodate.
