    Hello,
I'm Renaud and i'm building my own batterry for Sur-Ron Street Legal with Sintech Controller and i plan to keep the original screen and connector to battery.
According to the wiring diagram there is 2 wires flagged as "COM" the first one, the purple one, is not connected to battery BMS so i suspect this is for diagnostic/programming.
The second one is blue/black can you have the information about what is it for? how it is connected to BMS (UART COM RX? TX?)? and is that a "must have" cable or can i delete it from my new BMS?

Thanks for reaching out! Yes, you can un-bypass it. I've done it. You literally just do the steps in reverse and it should work like normal again. You can solder the wires back together, or they make heavy duty crimps for 8 gage wires too. I've done both without issue. Just make sure the connections are very solid!
