Electrolysis? All that is doing is using electricity to break water (H20) molecule bonds into hydrogen and oxygen gas (hence the bubbles). It will only have an effect on water in between its internal electrodes. It literally cannot have an effect on the stains. In addition to that, it is technically dangerous, as you are releasing hydrogen and oxygen gas into the air. Hydrogen gas is combustible and oxygen gas makes flames bigger. Also, it releases chlorine gas into the air, not much... but definitely not good. This thing should go in the trash.

@@bradasstv No, first it's very low voltage 5v dc, the usb standard and impossible to get a shock from except maybe applying directly to your tounge, second the 5v supply is both limited and isolated from mains via a transformer, the only thing that is dangerous is if you own some cheap $2 charger straight from a Chinese factory, where they may not have done a good job insulating the transformer and leaks mains through the 5v supply.
So go ahead and take your phone charger and a spare usb cable then drop it in a sink, the worst that should happen is the charger gets overloaded and cuts off, if anything else happens then it should be thrown away.

First, that thing is made of highly refined and hyped snake oil! Since USB only puts out about 5 volts, there isn’t much danger in submerging it. This is one of those “I see you coming!” products. Merry Christmas to you and your family!

  • @whoisthebossimtheboss4487

I'm amazed at how civil you are and how politely you review and not harshly criticize the lemons.
I mean, I would throw out a dust storm explitives and insults five miles wide. $70.00 for an obvious scam like that. #@&*% !!!!!

LOL. As soon as I seen what you were going to test I was going to pause and say NOPE, not going to do anything. I know most of the stuff you buy, like it or not you throw in the boneyard. I really hope you send that junk back for your money back. You knew that wasn't going to work before you made the video lol. Merry Christmas to you and the family.

    Boneyard, meet Washwow.
If you're in a dorm or camping and need to wash some clothes, just get one of the plastic basins with the built-in washboard for like ~$20. It probably won't get mustard out but it'll do better than this.

I wouldn’t have even given this crap a second thought, but I’m glad that he did (it’s his job to do these off the wall items.). With that being said, not only did it not look safe to plug in the wall NEAR WATER, but without agitation or even soaking in some type of detergent, I knew that this would be a fail. THANKS for Posting.

  • @srw788

I traveled a lot pre-COVID and am starting back up slowly now. If I was gone for a week I had no issue packing light with 3 pairs of pants, wearing them twice, and then using some hand soap or whatever to rinse it off in a sink. Detergent is detergent, it breaks down oils and helps to remove dirt and odors. Hang it up to dry or use the blow dryer to expedite the process.
It takes maybe 15 minutes and often permits me to travel for the week with just a backpack full of clothes.

Whether it works or not, you're not ever going to catch me using a product that plugs directly into the wall and is then fully submerged in water and removed from said water with my BARE HANDS while it is PLUGGED IN. There isn't even a ground on that plug FFS... You are lucky to have survived use of this product.
