- Hey there! Huion kindly offered to send me one of their products to test out, and here are my thoughts on it! It ended up becoming a bit of a comparison between this and the IPad Pro, but I feel like after apple's release, everyone feels indecisive when buying digital art supplies, so i'm telling you what I think, as a user of the IPad Pro! I think the main difference is the programs that you use with each of them. There's no doubt that desktop tablets allow acess to tons of possibilities, with Photoshop and Clip Studio, just to name a few, but the practicality of the IPad is what keeps me from switching to the Huion. The pen tip - line gap caused by the thickness of the screen is also something that I wish future desktop tablets would work on, because it is also one of the main reasons I don't see myself switching so soon. I hope you like this video! And sorry I look terrible in it! Everytime I decide on filming I don't feel like dressing up or making my hair look nicer, so I just look like what I naturally look like when i'm at home... woop! See ya next time!

What is it for
Hi! I have a huion tablet too, the gt 191 v2, and the issue that you mentioned with the calibration of the pen can be resolved if you go to : "working area" - "monitor calibration"- "reset default". ( i have it in spanish so i hope i translated well) this is what worked for me when the tip of the brush doesnt match with the tip of the pen.

I’m a traditional artist but am moving toward getting the iPad because I am tired of desktop and photoshop subscription. Lol! Time for change for the iPad. And would love to try procreate. I love clip studio too and thought of trying paint tool sai as well.

Oh wow this looks fab I always wanted one of these but my purse says no sadly ,so just traditional drawing for me..I can see how much these make digital drawing so much easier..I taught myself so much on the photoshop but the drawing is hard without a pad..but it served its purpose for years...it’s a great idea for doing linear to transfer onto watercolour card ,but you still would have to outline it then..but what a great toy to play with 😀

Good morning, I really liked your review but I have some doubts; Is the tilt function really lacking in this model? I say this because I know that version 2019 has this pen tilt function. Another question, is the texture of the canvas nice? Is it similar to paper tracing?

i guess that was my same gripe about display tablets, the cursor not being below and even after calibrating :( did you check if the display was scaled at 100%? maybe it will help more?

that's really strange. are most huion monitors like that? my huiontablet always mirrors exactly what's on the screen, but on yours, they seem to be different? is it because you have a desktop? or is it the tablet itself.
myra She’s using the Extended Display mode; you must be using the Duplicate Display mode.

Are you ever going to go back to your old art style? I loved how detailed and vibrant it was and the way you drew people. Not so simple as your current art style, though I understand you're going towards children's illustration.
