Planning one week in Madrid at the end of August. What do you recommend for day trips from Madrid?
I would recommend going to visit Segovia in the north, famous for its huge aqueduct, El Escorial, where all the Spanish kings are laid to rest. Personally, I'm a big fan of Cervantes and if you're interested, you can go to Alcala de Henares, a really nice little town north-east of Madrid and there you will find his home.
I’ll go to Madrid in July. I’m wondering where I should go eat and what is a must try. Is going to Toledo worth losing a day in Madrid?
To eat you should check out Mercado de San Miguel, and any tapas place around the centre usually has good food. Don't forget to try tortilla, pan tomaca and croquetas! Toledo is more of a rural place but very pretty - if that's your vibe, it's worth a visit 😊

Yes it is! You’ll have to do them fast but it’s doable. A lot of them are nearby 😊
