The Socom is not single action. Single Action & Double Action refer to firing mechanism. Single Action - Trigger does 1 action (releasing the hammer). Double Action - Trigger does 2 actions (Pulling the hammer back into ready postion, and releasing it to fire) This gun does not have a hammer btw, it has an internal striker. These guns are considered Semi-Automatic. Only a few guns made today (not in a revolver style) have a hammer and are DBl Action. And as far as I know, the 1911 is the only single action semi-auto.

when using the weapon glitch, how do i know when snake gets up while im in first person? i got it working twice by letting go in the right moment by luck (?) but it is hard for me to be consistent
I need help with the timing on the weapon glitch to break the wolf fight. I'm trying to follow the instructions like a recipe, but I'm confused. I feel like something is out of order.

Weapon glitch is complete trash and doesn't exist. When ever I try it the buttons don't work during the animation after being affected by the explosion of any type of bomb (C4 or Frag). Explosions go off R1 doesn't work to unequip the C4, R2 doesn't work to equip the Chaff/Stinger and the Triangle doesn't work to go into 1st person view and directional pad don't work and it's like that until snake stands up so I'm going to guess this glitch is complete bullshit and never worked to begin with.
Sorry it's giving you such trouble! It may be easier to learn it with the Wolf fights than using explosives. Distance and direction facing apparently can have an effect. I believe i managed once and when i pulled the stinger out it looked as a grenade however i wasnt able to get rid of to move past the hind section.

While you are in first person, the camera will begin shifting up.
