Definitely Cilla , Sheridan is more nasal when she sings , she was wonderful in the film but this has been dubbed . Don’t blame me it’s whoever decided to switch the soundtrack to the video !

Sheridan is fabulous but has a very different timbre to her voice & comes from Lincolnshire - her voice is deeper & stronger than Cilia’s fragile & breathy, younger voice, whilst Cilla’s is also obviously powerful. Cilla’s natural accent comes through clearly on this 1964 recording - as any real Cilla fan can hear & see someone has for some reason dubbed the original audio over Sheridan’s video. God knows why - CZcams is a strange place. Easy to hear the analogue quality of the recording compared to the Sheridan version in the excellent TV Drama. If you care enough or if you realise you’ve been unintentionally fooled then you’ll feel pretty stupid I guess! Have a beautiful life ✌️🌸🌺🌼🌈
This is - indeed - a dubbed version (the real Cilla Black audio). Sheridan does her own AMAZING performance in the scene, but the differences are very clear Cilla pronounces "ooh" with a closed/nasel tone ("ouh") and Sheridan's pronunciation is more open. Secondly, Cilla has two distinct sounds: soft/feminine in the quiet verse and a rough/nasel quality of power in the chorus. Again Sheridan does a fantastic emulation but keeps the feminine in her voice throughout the chorus. Listen to the real Sheridan version and you'll hear the differences. Nice dubbing efforts, but not fooled.
