@@cruisin682002 You're very welcome sir! always happy to talk to soldiers and any military personnel especially if it helps them or makes them happy, i know the war in Nam wasn't easy from a few stories my grandpa told me and by the way i have my grandpas old M14, and for a tiny girl as i am, i can handle that rifle fairly well haha!

Just one observation: Sultans Of Swing by Dire Straits was released in 1978 and the breakup Song by The Greg Kihn band wasn't released until 1981. Too late for the Vietnam War. Great songs, though.

I got my register for the draft letter in 1979...i didnt and the draft ended in 1973...ignorant people dont realize that you were forced to go uou had no choice ...sorry for all the young men who gave their lives....not by choice.....skol from MINNESOTA
What is "Sultans of Swing" doing on the list? It is a late 1970's song, definitely not Vietnam War era.
There is a lot of Good. Music on this list but not all are from the time of VNW. Mama I m coming home was performed by Ozzy. In the 90s Sultans of Swing 1982 , With or Without You was performed & Written by U-2 Like I said A lot of good Music but Way after the war.
