+Lenomon Look at 2:45. Ahren moves towards the mic and Joel claps his hands with the mic in front of him during the growl. It's Ahren. I recently learned that he did uncleans before Joel joined the band.
Ahren generally does unclean vocals in live performances. Did guest vocals on a track called Holy War for Confession with purely unclean vocals
Yeah, although String's growls are usually higher than that. It was Joel in the studio version, but Ahren screams in the studio versions of Death's Hand, Shine On and This Could Be Heartbreak (and probably more from the new album)

I heard from a few people that this band is terrible in concert but I disagree. Their sound is great both live and on their album.
Jason yeah they actually aren’t bad, and they’re saying that the clean singer sucked but he actually just had a cold
I used to think this band was amazing now it's 2 years later...they have not grown or anything
