I'd say the scenes of Arthur seeing both that boy, and the pregnant woman shook him to his core. He saw himself acting just as the man who took his lovers life, and his childs life, all over 10 dollars. Because, is that inaccurate? No, Arthur and Strauss were doing the same thing by different means. This idea is pretty much perfectly captured with Arthur almost going down the depths of hell to see Londonderry. The foreman even laughs and mocks Arthurs self in this cartoonish, and evil way, giving this hellish vibe to the scene. However, Arthur isn't this, let alone now, so he climbs back out and goes to absolve the depths. The character progression is astounding. It's so, so damn good. Nice playthrough.
Unfortunately as I was walking with Rains Fall I did not prompt the conversation of Arthur's son, but my friend showed it to me afterward and man, it gives that scene with that woman and her son so much more meaning. The fact that it was only 10 dollars made me feel so appalled and Arthur breaking that cycle is indeed really nice character progression :). I love your insights! Thank you so much for sharing!!
