Also, this shows that Diego Alonso should've been allowed to coach at least a second season.
This also shows potential problems of nepotism.
While on a business mindset, you may have described the shady side of the organization, when it comes to the actual games and strategy, you haven't studied that side enough. First off, Blaise Matuidi was the worst signing we've ever had - for the trouble our organization got into by putting him in an incorrect contract signing, we came into this season with a $2.3 Million spending maximum so we had to be frugal with who we wanted on our team going into this season, and for all the trouble we got into with putting that guy on our team and giving up a possible rising superstar like Pellegrini, Matuidi barely did much (in fact his only goal of last season was in the final game vs. New England Revolution when it was already too late for playoff contention); Rodolfo Pizarro, whether he was coached by Alonso or Neville, was losing his edge, he wasn't defensive enough, and his playstyle didn't seem to be cohesive with Gonzalo's; Frederico Higuain is about the only player I missed and I liked him, but he chose to retire; and as for Diego Alonso, maybe if we gave him another season things could've been different, but the way I saw our first season, we opened up with a 5-game losing streak (the most amount of losses of any MLS team's inauguration season before getting their first win) and ended it with making the playoffs only to get stomped by Nashville FC thanks to our squad that had those three players on our team - and this is a guy who came out of a championship season when he coached Monterrey.
While Inter Miami is looking shaky going into the end of this season, our past teams are no better than the team we have this season.

In that case he could have released BM but you can't blow up your team that much after the ball is already rolling.
That is why they are struggling so much. Too many changes too soon.
Also, anyone who ever played a sport knows that it's VERY unrealistic to expect an inaugural team to win games straight out the gate. That point that you made is invalid. Although losing is a part of the process, stability can alter the course of defeat.
Adversity is unavoidable & the MLS is more competitive now than what some people think it is.
@@TysonB786 Aware MLS is more competitive, but I'm just saying, this season's squad is better than how most people give it credit - especially since we came back and beat Colombus Crew last night!
