- Triple murder suspect Kyle Clifford has been found following the crossbow deaths of the wife and two daughters of a BBC racing commentator.
Clifford, 26, was found in the Enfield area of north London on Wednesday afternoon, Hertfordshire Police said.
He is receiving medical treatment having been found with injuries.
No shots were fired by police, the force said.
Clifford was wanted in connection with the deaths of Carol Hunt, wife of BBC racing commentator John Hunt, and their two daughters Hannah and Louise in Bushey, Hertfordshire.

Not only has the husband had his world turned upside down, by losing his wife and his 2 daughters. But his only surviving daughter has lost her mother and , 2 sisters. My deepest condolences to the family and friends of the victims.

However it's also possible that the man was already under a civil non-molestation order, which is much easier for victims to obtain quickly than anything handled through the criminal court. Whether it was foreseeable that this particular perpetrator would breach the Order in such a heinous fashion it is not possible for us to say at the moment.

Imo the Death Penalty should be reintroduced for horrendous crimes like this where guilt is 100% certain. It should also be carried out swiftly within a month of conviction. RIP.
Curiously, this is the third or fourth reported attack using a crossbow - a weapon that is currently unlicensed and unrestricted and a threat to the Governments monopoly on violence against the public. It would be crass to imply this was anything other than a tragedy of immense proportion but it's still as a result of the PERSON rather than the tool they used. I fully expect crossbows to be illegal by the end of this year.

I worked in high risk domestic abuse as a detective for years . The real truth is that restraining orders and behaviour orders are pretty ineffectual to prevent these types of crimes .
I agree with the vast majority of women making it clear it isn’t a crime of passion or just another domestic . It’s an act of pure evil and perpetrated by an evil individual worth thoughts only for themselves . Narcissistic personality disorder and sociopathic tendencies are evident in nearly every murder of this kind .
There has to be new legislation to force people to relocate to the far end of the country away from the victim and to never contact them again . A breach of that would result in a minimum of 10 years imprisonment. They repeat it again and they are never released . We do this with compulsive arsonists , why not people with histories of abusive behaviour in relationships.

I don't think that crossbows are easy to use as murder weapons at close range or in the confines of a house. A knife or machete is a much more usable weapon. What's the betting that labour will ban the possession of crossbows as a knee-jerk reaction just like Blair did with pistols after Hungerford, ruining sporting shooting for thousands of responsible sportsmen and stopping even Olympic competition in the UK.

I am not familiar with the UK criminal justice system so is a domestic violence murder considered less serious there or something since everyone is so upset here about them calling it that? Here in the US if its a domestic violence case its treated as an aggravating factor so it carries a more severe punishment. Ive seen people get more time/punishment in a minor domestic violence case like Obstruction of Telegraph Services which just means you took your girlfriend's cell phone and didn't give it back right away when she asked, than in non labled domestic assaults with injuries. In the US domestic violence cases have gone too far in the opposite direction to where its rediculous and there are many many times that the women are the aggressor now because they know they are going to get away with it. There's an epidemic of false allegations now as well because they only believe women even if the man has injuries and the woman doesn't. This situation is clearly murder since he had to reload each time he shot the crossbow. If he had a intimate relationship with one of the victims its a domestic murder which should be an aggravating circumstance legally. Its a tragedy 😢

this crime was in my area. the cemetery he was found in is 5 minutes away from me. it’s not just the poor women, every school has been in lockdown. everything was shut down and everyone was isolated. This is just a sick and selfish deed.
