“Absolutely Horrific Scenes” | Ex-Soldier Arrested After Triple Murder With Crossbow

- Triple murder suspect Kyle Clifford has been found following the crossbow deaths of the wife and two daughters of a BBC racing commentator.
Clifford, 26, was found in the Enfield area of north London on Wednesday afternoon, Hertfordshire Police said.
He is being treated at a major trauma centre after being found with injuries. Police said no arrest had yet been made.
Former Met Police detective chief inspector Chris Phillips joins Talk’s Julia Hartley-Brewer to discuss this further.

A crossbow is not an automatic Weapon and requires spanning each time it is shot. A calculated evil deed. It doesn't bear thinking about what actually happened...a complete tragedy.
You can now get repeating crossbows, just needs rec-ocking with a lever for each shot. Holds 6 bolts in the magazine I believe.

Also why does the press all have different stories about what happened .One online newspaper stated that one of the victims sent a 999 call to alert the police , also when the killer left the murder scene ,he was seen walking down the street with another man . Then another online news paer stated it was the husband who made the 999 call when he arrived home and found his family dead , and showed a video of the killer walking back to his car alone .

4:50 - I think the reason they're rare is because a firearm is normally acquired when you or your family is threatened by an entire gang, or when you're outnumbered. If you have to reload it after every shot, you're vulnerable for at least 10 seconds until you're ready to fire the second arrow.

This is just an excuse to ban crossbows. They said that the guy used a knife as well, so if he didn't have a crossbow, it would not have stopped him. 99.9% of crossbow owners use them as a fun hobby.
Agreed, however, after this tragic incident responsible people will accept stricter controls on their sale and usage.
