Patrick's Midwest Furfest 2022

- Midwest Furfest 2022, hosted in Chicagoland on December 1-4, surpassed its own record from pre-pandemic levels (which were nearly neck-neck with Anthrocon) to cement itself as the largest Furcon in history by a large margin. Attendance was 13,641 paying attendees and likely many other "ghosts". Its future potential for growth (next to one of the busiest international airports in the world and a mostly unused convention center) seems assured.
It was my pleasure, as always, to attend my local FurCon of Midwest Furfest and document what could be the beginning of the furry fandom achieving similar economic, attendee, and pop-culture status as sci-fi or anime fandoms in the Western world.
I am thankful for the encouragement and guidance given to me by Talexis and Melon, who's expertise has helped me to create a finer piece of art. I owe much to them and to MotionFur.
Clips by Melon (50:15-52:07 & 1:12:11-1:14:01)
Clips by Talexis/Arctic (First & Last shots of piece) (Frame by Patrick) - Krátké a kreslené filmy
Not a furry but I just watched that all the way through and got a really happy warm feeling from it, makes me want to visit a furcon, brilliant filmmaking and wishing love to all.
I'm actually addicted to these videos omfg. GOOD STUFF!

Fantastic work, Looks amazing! Love the unique shots and storytelling!
Thank you all for your hard work and the incredible investment of equipment, software, and years of experience! This is some bad-ass giving back to the community right here. ❤️
I was inspired by so many before me, but it truly has been years in the making. I had no thoughts on commitment at the beginning, it was just simply a want to make cool things. But after seeing my work progress as I’ve gotten older, it’s been one of the joys of my life to make these videos and give back in some way to the fandom
never been to Midwest Fur Fest this will be my 1st con going to Midwest Fur Fest your Friend Rocky The Fox
Melon keeps insisting how everyone should go to MFF. I can see why. Great video!

Absolute hyperbanger as per usual Patrick. I was not aware there were sand dunes in Illinois, LOL
That's because they're in Indiana!!! Thank you for your words as always Rush. Your video drop a couple days ago was a great watch!
Happy New Year cute babym 👫👫👫💑💑💑😍😍😍😍😍🤩🤩🤩🤩😘😘💋💋🤤🤤
At 1:12 the red haired guy looks just like the guy who did AP at FC in the 2000s. But it cant be him as he would be in his 40s and this guy looks like he is might be in his 20s. The guy I remember is either a dolphin or orca I can't remember which.
Usually I have one in every video I’ve made, but you’ve found my cameo within this piece. The red headed guy with the camera helping pull the TV is actually me! 😅
This was a clip that a friend who was recording gave to me to use in this video. It’s funny I reminded you of someone! Thanks for watching
@@PatrickSnowyote So you are the one in the video with the red hair curse.
I can't count the number of times I had someone come up to me and the only reason that they are attracted to me is that I have red hair. I mean really, I'm a great deal more than just a very rare hair pigment!
Have you ever had to deal with that issue?
