I first met Telephone at AC 2022, then I did again this year (in my partial fursuit) down in the dealer's den. Telephone was handling a charity bucket.
I had the exact same epiphany when I first wore a fursuit head. I have been a furry since 2014, but never went to a convention or was even interested in the fursuits. just the art. when a friend of mine let me wear their head around at a comic con early in 2024, it clicked. after just a few short hours of making people smile getting pictures taken with joyous children, I knew I needed one of my own. I saved up for a few months and was able to (barely, and financially irresponsibly) purchase a partial for significantly more money than I had told myself I would spend at MCFC (motor city fur con). it was without a doubt the best purchase I have ever made! I know you won't regret it when you make that leap. AC was epic, but now im suffering from pcd and watching con videos like this seems to be helping, so thanks for that :3

It is surreal seeing the buildings and THAT BRIDGE!! I cross that bridge all the time, I live only an hour away from Pittsburgh and it’s crazy seeing stuff like this in a video
I miss the term vlogging, those were the days, also FIRE VIDEO BROTHER, this made my day, I miss cameras from like the early 2000's that have bad audio and rendering, those types of cameras bring so many memories back.
Some cursed knowledge: did you know that you can fit the ENTIRE Vaporeon copypasta on one of those LED scrolling tags, even though the program says it shouldn't be able to fit within the character limit? You do now!

For terms of trolling that 4chan has been part of, turning an average Pokemon into a smut object is pretty low on the totem pole. Someone got horny, wrote a shitpost, and it was so messed up that the internet just latched onto it. (And yes, I went up to every single Vaponreon suiter at Anthrocon and started with something to the effect of "hey, did you know that in terms of Vaporeon fursuits, yours is really good?" where it's a compliment but I'm also clearly referencing the pasta - one of them gave me a sticker that had an innocent Vaporeon on it and the text "PLEASE DO NOT THE VAPOREON". The furs that go as Vaporeon are legit embracing the meme)

After being a local FINALLY being able to go for once in my life, I had a Blast finally being there in my own element! And i'm not even scratching the surface, especially with how many panels there were. Overall, 100/10, definitely going again!
ive never been to a fur con before, so seeing someone go to a con for the first time really gets me in the perspective of what i might experience going to one! i doubt id go to anthrocon (most likely a smaller one in my state) but still a fun video and a learning experience :3

i really enjoyed the video, it just reminded me of myself 5 years ago when i was visiting my first ever Furry Convetion. This time with all those nice and loving ppl, new friends you meet along the way, just all of this makes it a wonderfull experience that you will never forget. I hope your pcd (post con depression) isnt kicking in that hard, because thats what happened to me after the first con ever. man im really lookin forward on visiting Anthrocon at some point in my life ^^. Hey am I the only one who wants to know exactly what that person said that "quote end quote" triggered mr sword guy? Like, wtf, dude? I need to know WHAT the person who was injured said, you as a content creator can't just call the attacker a psychopath without telling the WHOLE reason, which would explain why you called them a monster. That's like right wing mentality man, saying only half the truth and leaving out the rest just to cause unneeded hateful damage. For all I know because your not being informative, both of them could have been drunk, and the person who was attacked could have come out as having done or supporting some really illegal shit that mr sword guy had an absolute right to attack him over for.
