Wow! This worked perfectly even for an old geezer like me. Years ago I had an android phone with a ringtone I just loved. The phone eventually went away along with the ringtone. Today I found that old ringtone on the web and installed it on my iPhone using this method. Works perfectly! Thanks so much!

Okay, so what I did was download a song on my computer (you could do the YT to MP3 converter if that's what you normally do and it works fine) and then I uploaded it to a folder in Google Drive. I also have the google drive app on my iPhone, so after it finished uploading, I opened the app on my phone and saved the mp3 file to my phone (in Files). You could probably just connect your phone to you computer with the cable, but I was too lazy to get up at the time lol.

Did this on my old iPhone XR but haven't had that phone in almost 2 years now so completely forgot how to do it. I have an iPhone 13 now and wanted to do this on it so thank you very much for this video. Very helpful. My coworker loves to tease me about a song I enjoy so I'm gonna put that as my ringtone and text tone so that song will be blasting each time I get a call/text. Best part is I work with him the most so he'll have to hear it every time I get a text/call. Lol.

When I put my song into Garage band it’s grayed out and there’s no possible way for me to click it, please help I’ve tried everything

If your having trouble finding somewhere to download the music to your files, just screen record while listening to your song of choice, and then save the video to your files. You should be able to do this same procedure
it doesn't work. It records screen only without sound :-( useless

How can I create my baby’s laughing audio as ringtone?
I’m no expert on the subject(hence me watching this video) but you should be able to record any sound into GarageBand itself or if you have a recording you should be able to use that audio or convert it to an mp3.
