This ex- Governor was once a Commissioner of Police , Delhi , notorious for publicy insulting his officers , would keep his two step juniors waiting outside his office chamber for hours while his constable orderlies would puff biddies on their face. In the year 1983 , due to past grudge , he kept me waiting outside his office chamber for the fault of my inspector for nine hours and in the evening conveyed through his beedi puffing orderly constable to come next day morning.
He had his bunglow at 28 , Akbar Road , very close to Vice - President's bunglow in Lutyens Delhi , the elite residential area of elite political and executive , where no other IPS officer of his or higher seniority and grade could ever get and dream of till date - a history of sort .
Visit of any public person was unthinkable and no public person was ever seen standing outside his house ; his claim of being available to public 24X7 is left to be judged by readers .
He met poetic justice , when his two officers of Crime Branch killed two innocent businessmen in utterly false encounter and he was packed -off on the same day evening by prime minister .
Calm and composure shown by lady IPS officer in clarifying things to such an arrogant person on unwarranted visit to her official residence is par excellence.

No don't agree, being a civil servant is not just another job where you get so much power for your luxury. As it is said, with great power comes greater responsibility. If you want to enjoy your personal space beyond your time of work you should choose other jobs, Any police officer, especially an IPS is always on duty. Crime doesn't stop happening when you are at home, you should be ready at all times of day whenever required. Work life balance in these jobs are shit and you should know about that beforehand and if you are not ready don't go for it. And civil servants did not just choose their jobs but also worked hard for it. Like every other human being they also deserve to have a life outside work. People commending on composed behaviour of the officer dont know the situation would be totally different if it was a common man standing in front of her and doing the same thing instead of an ex police and current politician.
The politician is just getting his media time doing this stunt which can be totally discussed in an office as she never refused to see them and act on it.
There is nothing commendable and should be appreciated here.

I think both are right in their own capacity, the Ex-IPS (politician) in raising valid concern of security in the area of recurring theft. Also, the Lady officer in dealing with the complaint and ensuring the public is heard and accountable of the measures that are not working and taking feedback of the initiative they have taken not yielding result. I would have hoped that this discussing to be taking place at police station and not at home as she is absolutely right that coming to residence may have impact on one's family, especially kids.

but the entire scenario looks like the lapse in the procedural due process of investigation in a case. There seems to be blatant negligence shown from the officer to resolve a case and both executives should have shown some decorum to resolve the issue amicably.
