Under the USBRL project, following the Chenab Bridge on the Katra-Banihal rail route, the next station is Dugga Railway Station. Nestled amidst the lofty Himalayan mountains, this station is truly unique. To construct this station, the mountains had to be carved, resulting in a station building situated between two mountain streams. While one part of the station yard is within a tunnel, the other part is inside a separate rail tunnel.
The construction of Dugga Railway Station's building is complete, with the station yard work now in its final phase.
