Dude! Mining with a fighter is absolutely the most efficient. You get a Rhyx, put two mark 3 mining lasers and a tractor beam on. Set a chase macro on and start shooting. With the Rhyx you can put a level 10 cap in there and overcharge it. You never run out of juice.
