Thanks Sterling, this is exactly what I'm working on right now after watching an interview with David Coverdale from '89, my first thought from that was how much he sounded like Roger Moore, with a deep and resonate voice, then I realised I could hear how much nasality he had! It sounded like his voice came from behind the eyes and from a big resonate cavity, I doubt I would've understood that before watching a ton of your exercises! Thanks dude, your the best! ❤

The yas cat technique reminds me of Thurston Howell III on Gilligan's Island, expecially

Thank you Sterling! Namaste😃✌️ Please do more on light medium and heavy mix. Is it about vowel modification? Airpressure? compression?
    Wish you a good weekend👍

Love the video very informative! How do you have you larynx lower but keep a brighter tone because my highnotes sound hella dull when I lower my larynx

So I just learned how to do mixed voice from watching these videos. Immediately ruined my throat constantly singing 'roxanne', 'black dog', 'thunderstruck' and all these other songs in an insanely high register never before achievable. I was today years old when I learned my larynx needs to go down, not up. Thanks again Sterling. In future I should probably learn to walk before I can run.

Ha. Very common issue man. Sorry to hear it but it’s part of the learning process. Gotta figure out what’s healthy and not healthy. Thanks for the support 😊

Bye! I graduated from primary music school, violin department. If I had a teacher like that, I would probably continue. But I ate cookies across the street from the music school.. 😂 Greetings! 🤣😂😂😂😂🤣😜

I just need to somehow figure out a way to get my larynx even higher.... Maybe swallowing upside down? :)

Great vid again, thanks for uploading! This channel should be way past Chris Liepe. Sterling is actually pleasant to listen to. But hey, opinions differ. A lot of it is also do you resonate with the teacher.

@yogidepogi I concur with your comment. I have had privates with Chris and he is a lovely person, nothing bad to say. I am really enjoying Sterling and he's my new favorite.

I too have been a student of Chris and I have nothing but good things to say about him😊 I unfortunately had to leave class for lack of funds , but I'm also always trying to learn from as many teachers as possible, this is because I can't always learn the correct way from the information I'm getting , I usually need many different examples or explanations especially when it comes to singing , now guitar is different I can watch any guitar video and learn what I need lol, this may be why singing is so hard because everyone is using a slightly different instrument, the voice is different in every person. Crazy😂

Great stuff! You're channel should be on par with Chris Liepe etc...
I'd love to see you check out new singers. Break down what's what. Yannis Papadopoulos for example. Beast In Black is awesome.
