What many people do is that they rate serums after using it only for 2-3 days. The thing is that serums are high concentrations of a particular acid. Our skin takes at least 8-9 days to get used to it. After that things usually get back to normal and the acid starts showing it’s results.

Salicylic acid doesn’t try out your skin. The results you are seeing are normal and you have nothing to worry about. Only use this at night and avoid using in the day if it’s making your skin oily.

But the new formulation is a little bit too gentle to give results. Beginners can introduce the ingredient with it but that's all.
