Sepultura with Max Cavalera was a major force on the thrash heavy take, but André Matos (RIP) who has been the singer from Viper, Angra, shaman and other projects was also another major force from the melodic metal side. His high pitched voice was unequal. But I think his compositional skills was his best. Viper was band from when he was a teenager but the first three Angra albuns and shaman shows a more mature side of him. I suggest this song from his solo career: Andre Matos - Time to be free.
I reccomend you do some research on them. They were a major force on thrash back then when Max Cavalera was the singer.
