Where was the short quick passes the first five games? Did they only do that because JT and Hines are out today? I hope not. Quit having Ryan be a sitting duck in the pocket and keep getting the ball out right away. If they can pass like that when JT comes back, their offense will be legit.

@@bigern182 it was playcalling. Part of it was the injuries to the RBs and we went with a lot more shotgun this week. Kind of difficult when the defense can beat you to your three step drop lmao

I do remember the raiders nations had a toughest and fight battles against the colts. Until the raiders won the game. Raiders nations30 airblown colts 28. It was a good game! From the last of the season. I'm not gonna lie. The colts had the incredibly and real tremendous with a strong powerhouse defensive and offensive experience all time.

1:22 notice how the Jaguar player number 37 realized that the Colts player lost his helmet and so he stood over him to protect him instead of going after the ball. That was a really sportsmanlike play that will probably go unrecognized.

Matt Ryan really is one tuff son of a gun… you wouldn’t think so with how skinny dude is. But he’s constantly been taking big hits this season and then just jumping up and continuing as if nothing happened

He's taken hits like that for a long time. Going into this week, he led the league with 21 times sacked. He's also been sacked 40+ times over the previous 4 consecutive seasons. Pass heavy offensives over the years with a lot of poor run games and O Lines, not to mention having to play from behind cuz the defense was always abhorrent. 15 seasons and only 3 missed games, and only 1 missed game since 2010

Much better, but far from perfect. Pryor still graded out horribly (allowed 8 pressures) and almost blew the last play to Pierce (whiffs and Ryan gets hit low). Pryor is a bum and has to be replaced.

The colts o-line still needs to improve in the run game. Holes need to be bigger for me to really believe they can dominate a team like the Chiefs or Bills in the playoffs. Also, the defense cannot give up so many big plays on the ground. They gave up like 4 big run plays that could’ve all been touchdowns (I think only one was, luckily). Matt Ryan is a monster in 4th quarter. Never seen someone this clutch in 4th quarters since Peyton.
Andrew Luck also dominated the 4th Q.
They've been top running defense all season. This is the only game they let anyone run on them. Once Shaq is back, it's gonna be hard for any team outside of Buffalo to score on them.
The offense is finally starting to click. Once JT is back, I think they are going to start putting up points, and get going.
As long as they get healthy, and the Oline keeps getting better, they got a chance to go deep into January.
They beat the Chiefs already, and I don't want to hear anything about their kicker losing that game for them. It wasn't the kicker, they just couldn't score TDs on the Colts D.
This team is much better than the first 5 weeks have shown us. They just gotta put it together.
Love the colts but if I have to point out a negative….our pass defense cannot allow a QB to go 20/22. We have to be better. And although Buckner had a sack, he needs to be better on key plays at getting off locks but other than that good game

10 of Trevor's completions were behind the line of scrimmage it wasn't like he was exposing db's.
I'm convinced that Peyton Manning, Eli Manning and Matt Ryan are all related. The three of them are some of the best passing QB's to ever play the game. But all three are the most uncoordinated, unathletic athletes to ever throw a football. I'd bet the farm that in a game of hopscotch they'd all end up on injured reserve.

He had a new offense to learn, new teammates to build chemistry with, new playbook, and on top of all that it's his first time having an offensive minded coach in his career. They're slowly clicking and coming together, people just need to chill.

The O line isn't what it use to be, and they thought Matt could just hang out in the pocket and let all these slow developing plays work out. But they finally realized they need to get the ball out quick. I know the big chunk plays look cool, but dinkin and dunkin win games. Add some play action once JT comes back, and that offense will be a well oiled machine!

Ah, American Football, the only place where the last 2 minutes of the game take 15 minutes.
Usually there are 6 time outs a piece in a 2min drill, then the 2min warning, incomplete passes, catch and runs out of bounds, injury timeouts, and booth challenge plays to slow the game down All of this turns 2min into 15-20min extra in the late part of a game

If I’m being honest I would have went for the touchdown, you get the first down and knee. That way jags are forced to use all their timeouts and you can run the clock out and get the field goal. I give the coach a grade d on that play calling for not sending the call to his recievers to avoid a touchdown. You are giving your opponent a chance to win

I was there, and I am a huge Jags fan. It was a very hostile environment, and I thought Trevor played very well through that. Sure, our defense was rough in spots, but this team seems united as one which I like. There is no quit in all of our players, and I like our chances moving forward. There have been solid plays all around the whole year, which is important in having a good team.
I was their also you guys didn't go down easily..and should feel pretty good about your team in the coming years and this year. GG jags.
