- In today's quick one minute tutorial I show you how to connect Samsung smart remote to tv. Also known as pair Samsung smart remote. This is a working method as of 2022.
Sometimes Samsung smart remote can become out of sync and unpair itself from the Samsung TV. This easy to do method will re sync Samsung smart remote to your TV also known as pair Samsung smart remote.

For those getting the “not available” I just found the cure for that annoying message. 1) Turn your TV off. 2) Take the batteries out of the remote. 3) Unplug the TV. 4) Let it sit like that for a few minutes. 5) Plug the TV back in, but don’t turn it on just yet. 6) Put the batteries back in the remote and then use the remote to turn on the TV. 7) Try using the remote. 8) If it gives you the message that another remote is paired then it will finally let you press the back arrow and play button at the same time and hold them until the pairing menu pops up and then it will FINALLY pair again!!!!!

Mine still keep saying not available. And the batteries are new too.
Sometimes you have to do the steps more than once. I went through this again just yesterday and wound up spending an hour on it this time. Apparently it’s some small part in the TV that needs to be replaced and was told who is an authorized repairman in my local area.

Sorry, I am unsure how to do it for sure with other models. I would think it would be the same type of deal though. Holding two buttons down etc. Maybe another video on CZcams will have the fix you need?

Just bought a Samsung CU 7000F 55in TV which can't be paired on volume with the per DISH with their remote, as out of 76 codes none work?! (We tried them all!) Any advice?uhIsh DIScih
So the other functions work on the remote just not the volume? Do you have a separate soundbar for audio or are you using the audio from the TV itself?
Can I pair that old remote to my new current Samsung TV? I REALLY LOVED that old remote (I had the 2018 Q8FN, and now I have the 2021 QN90A) and I really hate the new remote because I keep hitting the Netflix button by accident because the new remote has the buttons in bad positions.
I know. I hit the same Netflix button all the time. I an unsure how to pair the old remote. I will look around and see if I can figure it out!

You should be able to do all that once it's connected. Is that not working?

I’m having an issue where my samsung smart remote unpairs and then I try doing this and it says “not available”. Then I realized that my parents standard Samsung remote is paired with my tv. Mind you my parents room is next to mine. So now their remote is working for both tvs but my smart remote just won’t pair. Any help on this? Thanks.
Maybe try turning your parents TV on first and get their remote working with it. Then turn your TV on and try your remote. I would think you could have two remotes with two separate TV's even if they are close to each other.

This type of smart remote is not working for one of my Samsung tv's. Any advice? I know that they should work with every tv.
I have rebooted the tv and rebooted the remote. The remote is a smart remote similar to the one you show expect that the back and the pause are on the opposite sides from each other and it also has the 3 buttons below the volume for Netflix, prime, and Samsung tv plus. Now it did once work and then I think Samsung might have done an update. In the middle of the night, my husband woke up and it said something and he hit something and after that it stopped working.
It is a new (3 1/2 months) tv that I have been have been have been having problems with. I can see that it is talking to the tv. The red light is blinking but the tv is not responding like you say it should. If the larger tv is on in the living room, I can still control it out there. The remote still works with that tv.
The remote is from an older larger tv (58") that I had to replace the remote since this particular remote wasn't working properly, expect that it does still work well enough that I would like to use it in the bedroom with the new tv. I also had to totally replace the insides of the 3 year old 58" tv 2 months ago. It was under an extended warranty.
Dealing with customer service over the phone is near impossible. It all depends on who you speak with. They are all overseas. As of today I will never buy another Samsung product. I've had nothing but problems with both of these tv's and remotes and customer service. Thank goodness I bought extended warranties. The new tv has had so many problems with the sleep timer. I wish I had returned it the first month. My local cable provider says that they now outsource their products to so many different manufacturers that they have lost all quality control. I used to love their products and will now switch to Apple and other tv's too.
Once again any advice would be helpful. I have also taken the batteries out and pointed it down for 60 seconds at the advice of someone at Samsung. The only thing I can think of is to resent the tv to see if that might help. One of the idiots at Samsung told me when I asked that he wasn't even able to tell me if they had done an update. That is the only thing I can think that might have happened when it stopped working in the middle of the night as I mentioned before. It also was when the tv should have turned it self off but the sleep timer didn't work as it should have. As it still is doing periodically.
Im not quite sure what to tell ya. Are you using an actual Samsung brand remote or a universal one?
Do you know how to pair TWO (of the same) remotes to one TV? The TV display says "there is already another remote paired to this TV". We like to control the same tv from two different areas of our 'great room'.

For some reason my TV won't turn on at all. I have had it for about 6 months and it has always worked, but I wasn't able to power it on today. I replaced the batteries on my controller, and made sure my TV was plugged in, but still no success. I tried re-pairing the controller as well. Is there any way to turn on the TV without the controller? Thanks!
What brand of TV do you have? Most modern TV's have at least a couple buttons on the bottom or side for basic controls like powering on. Let me know if you have any success!
