right side and upside navigation not working. can your help?

Might be dirty. I get a a tip with a very small amount of alcohol and rub it over the navigation pad. It helps break up some of the dirt

My remote level stays at 74% even though it's left with the solar panel facing lights all day. If it starts to show less than 74% I guess I'll try charging with the USB port.
