To this day I have a lot to say about the birth of my first child, and that was 30 years ago. Thank you for being brave and starting the conversation.

I could talk for hours in response to this incredibly important interview. I am 65 and have six children (and had three miscarriages). I was continuously pregnant and/or nursing for 15 years. From the early 90s, while i was in my early 30s, to the early 2000s, when i was in my 40s, i fought every one of those fights around ultrasounds and prenatal care, birth, vaccines, circs, what constitutes health care for babies and children, education and so many other things. I also worked for an ob/gyn in the 80s which necessitated me assisting at circs. This was absolutely horrifying to me. This business of inducing at 39 weeks is a shock to hear. We just get more arrogant and more wrong in this area with every passing year. I will go pull up the podcast so i can hear the last bit. Thank you both for walking on the wild side of speaking from truth and experience. Our future depends upon it!
