2021 BRONCO GETS A NEW WARN WINCH, BEST ADDITION FOR RECOVERY SO FAR

We will be outfitting our Bronco for a little more than just a walk in the park. While we aren't going to purposely get stuck, we are preparing as if we will. This includes all the necessary recovery equipment we might need.
So here we go with the final install of the bumper, winch mount and winch. While I did address some issues with the bumper, I was able to fix them with a couple simple modifications. The process of installing the Warn winch to the 4WP bumper set up was straight forward although very cumbersome. While it will not be wired up in this video we are going to be wiring it up in next Friday's video with a couple added features.
The winch we chose for this install is the Warn VR EVO 12-S winch from @Warn Industries (link below) because of the 12k pull capacity and the synthetic rope. I have used both cable and synthetic in the past and there are advantages to both although in my opinion the synthetic is a little more forgiving when it involves newer users, such as Jill.
I chose Warn because while serving in the US Military, I have used the Warn products on recoveries and never had an issue. I have relied on them numerous times at home and they have never let me down.

If you purchased the Harbor Freight, you wouldn't have to worry about anyone stealing it!!! :P The Warn VR Evo is essentially the HF winch anyway....

What I really will be struggling with personally, is that with the hidden winch, is that no one is going to be able to see what btand of winch I have!
Whew... That was a close one, but I was able to find a Warn Replacement Sticker kit for $35. No one has to know the truth!

#1 Thing I Don't Like About the Bronco - The '22 dealer allocation formula
The Bronco is nearly impossible to get for many long time reservation holders. Any dealer whose slice of the Bronco reservations is greater than their slice of overall Ford sales is going to have reservation holders waiting while other dealers will have dealer stock. Ford has reneged on their commitment to deliver reservations before dealer stock. For customers that reserved at smaller dealers who have fully embraced the Bronco, it will take years for them to get a delivery. Shame on Ford for pandering to large dealerships.

I don’t like it either. It is pretty crappy for them to do that. I was lucky for I was able to get the Broncos built before their allocation was used up. Never though both would make it this year.
