My favorite piece of music across any genre. I believe DeBussy wrote this piece for the piano, I’m not sure even he could argue with this though. I think the violin was crying at one point. Pure perfection. ❤

You're right, and that was so well said.
Despite how a lot of people see me, I absolutely love classical music more than any other genre. I was listening to this cover while in history and I accidentally yanked my earphone cord out of my phone, the music wasn't loud, but it was able to catch my teachers attention since I sat right in front of his desk. He looked at me and said, "Good taste."

i was surprised but also not surprised this song made it into the show, when the girl was playing the beginning even tho it was out of tune i instantly knew it was it and i was hyped!!
I once played this piece on violin at a girl's funeral. She meant a lot to me. I hope played it perfectly for her homegoing, because was close to perfect to me.

i recently rediscovered this music/video and it brought me to tears because it was part of a playlist i was listening to on repeat when my grandpa was dying i remember playing the song in the summer heat as i was standing in the room with my grandpa, knowing that in a few hours he wasnt going to responsive anymore. the first time i encountered a problem in my life i realized i had no power over death. this might seem like a bleak realization it is also the begining of the realization that we have one life born out of al the randomness of a ten plus billion year universe, and that life was bestowed upon us to experience and enjoy. beautiful recreation

Yes I agree, if you didn't know this piece was used in a ps4 game the evil within a horror type of game. Which when you hear a faint clair de lune it means you're near the safe zone and no evil monsters can approach you where you could also save your progress.

The video was recorded at the Istituto Italiano di Cultura in Paris, along with a few other pieces. Indeed, it's such a gorgeous setting and we're extremely grateful for the opportunity to film there!
Wow - this is one of my favorite compositions, obviously such a classic, and this duo played it so beautifully. Seeing the violin and the piano together I suddenly got the sense of a romantic conversation between the two, as if the violin were the voice of the woman and the piano were the voice of the man, but fluid like a dance; and with the man playing the violin, and the woman the piano, it further evoked a sense of the masculine inspiring the feminine and the feminine inspiring the masculine in elegantly rich depth of expression. Absolutely gorgeous you two, a moment of everlasting musical Truth, however one reflects upon it, thank you.

With violin, so different. I listened this piece for three times consecutively, Very beautiful. Felt the mélancolique deep within but have no awareness of, being dragged, emitted and eventually subsided.
