    Awesome crowd! So impressed. Hopefully, the Japanese Rugby League One continues to grow and attract more fans from around the world. We as Rugby fans need to support each other’s leagues. I coach Youth Rugby and we have our first game this morning. 🏉🇺🇸🇯🇵💪🏻

      I think it will be good for him. We see this with Barrett who I think is now a much more rounded player.
      NZ need to step up in 2022 after a challenging 2021. Time to get in some of these newer All-Blacks who I think are awesome.
      As for Japanese rugby, love seeing them rise and with the other Pacific region rugby improvements, e.g. Fiji, Tonga etc.

      @@Connor6569 I agree that it may take a little while for them to display consistent good performances, but I think its unfair to say that they'll get destroyed. Are we forgetting that they did beat South Africa at the largest competition in the sport? I also argue that having more matches againsts the more elite rugby countries, can only have a positive effect on the growth and level of competition of the sport in Japan.

      Their only saving grace is the passing players hand movement. The refs have been told world wide to check then when a suspected forward pass.. has to be the reason why they weren't pulled back?!

      referees aren't gutsy enough to call 50/50s against the favorites. Happens in all levels of Japanese rugby

      if you bend rules at this level then players are and will be found out at test level, seems to be a case of Japan playing the game in Japan to suit them selves then at test level they get hockied because they have to actually play the rules... unless on home soil where they get these decisions forward passes and offside seem to have escaped the rules book in Japan

      Rugby is not that popular a sport in Japan, so there are few referees and the quality of refereeing varies.
      I think this will improve when rugby becomes more popular and referees are given a proper status as a profession.

      @@0westdude ah sure lets just make up the rules as we go along then anything to make it flow, why bother having scrums they only delay everything and sure why wait for everyone to line up when the ball goes dead and there is a lineout lest just throw it back in like football oh and sure why not just do what they do in American Football and when a try is scored no need to touch the ball down just cross the line it'll save time along with kicking the conversion from infront of the posts rather than out on the side if try scored by coner flag oh and..... IT'S RUGBY and there are rules!!!! Play them or go make your own bloody game up!!!

      Tbh he played pretty well for a distributor but I think theres still alot of work needed to develop synergy in the backline. Dmac opened q a few opportunities for the winger who had some really stupid fumbles. The pass to Nakamura was honestly not a bad one but it was very risky so I do agree that it was kinda unnecessary.
