Do you even know what does it mean that "A" is in type of "B"? What does it mean if I said "A is my type". That means that that "A" has a certain set of personality&appearance traits that I find attractive. Not that "B" would have to be in the relationship with "A" no matter what. No, "B" will be attracted to a person who is similar to "A" in means of personality and/or looks.

i bumped into these wonderful dudes in tokyo shibuya about 2/3 years ago, purely by accident, they were on holiday ( i think) and i was just leaving my music school and there they were. i was having one of the worst days of my life and i was a wreck. i saw them walking down the street toward me and i couldnt believe my eyes! it was embarrassing as i was sobbing, but they were so kind and they let me take a photo with them. we talked about how i was attending this technical music school and that i played violin and something about anime too. they probably dont remember, but that is a day i will never forget
Props on you being brave enough to ask for a photo even if you were miserable. I would probably have been too self conscious when I was at school.

Okay, I wanna clarify things. I voted for Brett too for the question about hanging out but it's just because it was mentioned in their previous vids that Brett is a lot more extroverted than Eddy. I'm really surprised that more people didn't vote for Eddy in the hangout question. He is incredibly introspective, and he clearly enjoys exploring topics critically. I feel like he would have an interesting perspective on any topic. He's also funny and light-hearted during conversation.
I voted for Eddy because he seems really thoughtful and would really have some interesting perspectives on a lot of subjects. But to be perfectly honest, I would want to hang out with BOTH of them, not just one or the other.

It all depends on the definition. If it's like "hang out with for a couple of hours" (like once ever, or even once every couple years or so) I'm fairly certain that I'd have a great time with both or either of them. If it's "hang out with regularly, like friends", then I agree with you, I'm not sure we'd work as friends for a number of reasons. I'm sure they're both great, but there are a lot of great people who wouldn't work as friends for me (and vice versa).
If you see this- I don't think any of us knew your friends set the questions without you knowing what was in there. I think we assumed you both had set the questions, therefore it was more of a jokey feel (for example the question about who is better to hang out with). But knowing you guys didn't know the questions, it feels kind of cruel that the answers might give an impression your fans like one of you more than the other. I don't think that's the case at all. I hope you both know that you're both fantastic and very talented.

It's interesting, if you go back to their old videos, they made jokes about this themselves...but in more recent years, as their audience has grown, I think they have acted more uncomfortable about it. When it came to the hanging out and the better teacher questions, I actually answered those reverse of the popular. Eddy seems to have similar humor to me anytime they're being 'casual', so I said I would prefer to hang out with him. But Brett seemed like he would be a more patient teacher, and better at explaining the basics, so I picked him as the teacher.
I feel like about half the fans were actually trying to be serious with all their answers, and the other half were just trolling to the max. 😆
From the video where they worked at a music store, Brett was really patient and gentle with the young girl who was picking out a violin. I think he'll be a patient teacher. 🙂

Not that I think Eddy couldn't teach, but I just felt that Brett would be able to keep things calmer and go slower.

I based my answer about hanging out on who was more extroverted. Brett said he was (in one of the Q&A videos) so I picked him. I feel like hanging out with Eddy will be great too once you get to know him better. I'm an introvert so two introverts meeting feels like it would be a little awkward at first. During the virtual world tour I finally figured out the secret of Ling Ling. It's not one person, it's two. Brett and Eddy together are Ling Ling. Twoset you guys should make a video with artists from other genres of music and have them teach you how to play in that style (like a romani violinist, jazz violinist, a fiddler, a carnatic violinist... Or even other types of music that don't use violin). I think all musicians benefit from opening themselves to different genres so it'd be pretty educational, but it would also be really funny watching you actually attempt to play something else than classical lol (not that I don't like classical it's awesome too)

It’s easy to think you know a public figure based on the content they put out, but I have a feeling that all our favorite CZcamsrs are different in real life than what our impression is of them, even if we’ve been watching them for years.
That's true! I personally feel Twoset is really refreshing in that we can see a really strong, genuine, friendship between Brett and Eddy but it's also not our place to comment on their personal lives, and I've realized we aren't really the best judge of who they are and what we should do; the best thing I feel I can do is support them and buy their merch when I'm no longer broke as a twoset fan.

I'm on the subreddit every once in while, I draw, play the piano and the violin, but I don't have nearly enough confidence to post anything. All I can do is look at all the talented people on it.
Looking back at this video, Brett might be right that the real answer to 7:15 is 'watching maid cafe videos on yt'
And Eddy is trying to hide it.
Now that I rewatch this video I realised how both Brett and Eddy are used to the fact that Brett is generally preferred and just accept it. That hangout question always hurt a bit whenever I rewatch this video and if I were Eddy I would be pretty sad, no matter how much he loves and adore Brett himself.

I went to a counceling session today (take care of your mental health, everyone) and I noticed a poster for the local Philharmonic Youth Orchestra on her door, and that the Cello soloist shared her last name. I asked her about it, leading toa short talk about classical music in general, and about her 2 kids (Daughter confirmed cello soloist, Son violin soloist) At one point I mentioned getting back into all of it recently thanks to watching TwoSet. MY COUNCELOR responded to this with, "Oh, YES! They are verry funny XD." Shoutout to the Huangs, good luck in your upcoming concert. GO PRACTICE. Thanks to you guys too, your channel is helping me (and I'm certain many others) find common ground with strangers from all walks of life!

I literally closed the page when I saw the “hang out” question. I just couldn’t do it. It’s too hard to choose.
The question (in this slightly bizarre questionnaire haha) about showering less frequently (also good to not overdo it on fragrance and shower gels) made me think of a wonderful book about microbiomes: skin microbiome, gut microbiome. Don't remember the name or the author of it, unfortunately. But it is great. It begins with that although some say that we are born, live and die alone, it is not scientifically correct, since even when we're alone we are not alone, being in a usually friendly symbiosis with many-many different species living on and inside of us. Peculiar thought, but in a good way.

Also, I would like to point out that the *correct* answer to that question for probably 99% of your subscribers is "both". If that had been an option, it would have blown the others away.
