I remember csgo was a joke on launch as well, it took them 2 years to fix it up.
Yeah same, the only difference then is that you could still play cs:s or cs 1.6. With Cs2, it’s completely replaced CS:GO.

Hey, I'm an AMD user. I went with their fastest model. CS2 doesn't have ray tracing. My card has a higher rasterization than a 4080, so...I have (or rather, had), plenty of fps in cs2. I just stopped playing because it just was infested with cheaters. Two nights ago, it was atrociously bad, so I quit. I had plenty of fun with counter-strike.

I'm so sad I never got to play CS:GO.
I downloaded CS2 and it was a mess. It kept freezing at random times just as I was starting to have fun. Tried all kinds of things and still couldn't fix the problem. I play games on a puny laptop because I can't afford an expensive PC and it actually runs most things just fine at potato graphics settings, but not CS2, apparently.
Edit to say that I also way prefer how CS:GO looked. CS2 was way too bright, imo.

Its shet. The graphics are ugly and distracting. And the input feels heavy. But other than that its fine, but I miss csgo
@@DaveBallOW I agree, while the issues are slowly going away, the biggest issue for me is the the lack of content
the achievements dude i had the same thought i really did tr fisnnishing it but there were some missing ...... now they are all gone all the work.
@@GardenofEdens it took me so many hours. some of which you actually have to trick the game into giving to you, because they are literally impossible otherwise lol, just for them all to be erased, thanks valve- wished they would’ve either kept cs2 in testing for a lot longer, or would’ve kept csgo and just disabled the official servers
@@ElisTheWorst I had all of the impossible things because of my 2014 playtime all real .
There is literally no purpose in deleting the csgo achievements it only deleted a bit more from my memory.
They will be missing if I check back 2043 csgo in my steam library, the achievements I got with my friends all gone.
Playtesting would be great a working anti cheat would be great too.

I hate everything about this game. I hated the hype, I hated that skins doubled in price because they were mOoR sHinY. I hate the brightness and sounds and music. I even hate the ugly orange screen that flashbangs my eyes every time I start the game. Most of all, I hate the my favorite game that I've spent thousands of hours practicing was taken away and replaced with a shallow, unfinished and unpolished mess. Valve please let us play CSGO.
