Really true winner of this year
My favourite Latvian entry by far , she also wrote the entry of Latvia 2016 and 2020
She has the Midas touch for Latvian Eurovision entries.

5 years later and it still sounds so fresh
This whole performance is simply a perfection. I think in a weaker year like 2011 for example, this would have probably won and deservingly so. But 2015 had so many strong entries, so it was a real battle for the top places.
It also doesn’t surprise me that all 3 of Aminata’s songs that were at ESC are in my top 5 of all Latvian entries.
Realizing now that 2015 was a pretty good year for the Baltics, we love to see it!
@@JordanDavisEurovision True! All of them qualified, where 2 were even in the top 10. I'd say that is a pretty big accomplishment :)

I didn't care for this song when listening to mp3s before the live show, just thought it was a loud mess. Then when I saw it live I was really impressed and had it in my 3rd place in the end.

Her truly unbelievable talent aside, I remember watching the 2015 finale with a couple of friends. One of them fell asleep pretty quickly, and slept through most of the show. But when this came on he woke up for a moment, all confused and groggy. He took one look at the tv and mumbles "She looks like a lollipop", sounding quite genuinely freaked out. (the next day, he explained it'd been her head to body ratio that prompted the comment, but holy shit were we confused there for a hot second)
Also, I can't believe Latvia followed up "Cake to bake" with this. It's like someone said they only send joke entries, so Latvia turned the joke on them.

Best Latvian entry ever! All of the best Latvian entries are written by Aminata (Love Injected, Hearbeat and Still Breathing). Just read today that Aminata and Samanta Tina are once again working on her entry for next year. Can't wait to see the end result.

This, Bulgaria 2016 and Albania 2015 are my top 3 songs of all Eurovision, all amazing but this one is probs my #1. So good. Such good vocals and such a different song and the staging is amazing

The fiasco of Aarzemnieki winning in 2014 is what drove the creation of SUPERNOVA as a revamp. Aminata has bewn involved in some way in like every year sense IIRC, not always for Latvia She writes for multiple other people. Her arm movements reminded me of DIva Plavalaguna in The 5th Element. Her dress is among my 5 favorite ones from all ESCs (Aliona Moon, Conchita, Margaret Berger, etc)
